OK, take the Citizenship test and post your results. Of course you're on your honor to be truthful and not Google your answers....

Here's mine....had a brain spasm on one! Oh well!, Close to perfect but no kewpie doll.
You answered 95% of questions correctly. Here's your rating:
0-20%: Maybe you're still thinking too much about the Old Country.
25-40%: Mmmm. Do you really want to be a citizen? This kind of performance isn't going to impress those nice immigration folks.
45-60%: Not too bad, but you really need to break out the civics books again -- word is, the INS is looking for an 80 percent score.
65-80%: Hey, you may make a good citizen yet! Look at your wrong answers and a little revision should do the trick.
85-100%: Welcome to the United States! (And, truth be told, you know more about this great land than most Americans.)

I took the test and got a 95%. I missed only one question. I didn't know the INS form number for their application to become a citizen. Heck, as long as you know form number 1040 that's all a citizen needs to konw.

Wow, I must be slipping, only scored 100% on the test!
Not bad for a native born citizen.
(And everybody knows what the form number is for the INS form to apply for citizenship is, don't they? http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif )

lol usmc.....isn't it the truth about the citizenship test being better scored on than what most of us natural borns would know. I, too, scored 95%.
Sorry, Nacktman, I missed what the form number was for the INS form.....rusty cells upstairs, I suppose. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/beam.gif

We'll see ... with The Poodle gone, we might just have to annex you if Gordon doesn't cooperate enough.
How do you like the name "East Texas"?

Well,... maybe yes, but on one condition,... we get the same weather as West Texas, deal or no deal?
Pete Knight
I got 95%. I only missed the one about how many justices there are. My best grades in high school and college were history and civics aka goverment.
You answered 95% of questions correctly.
Darn, I would have gotten 100%, probably, but I somehow skipped question 19!
I was never very careful on tests.
Not to bad for a 65 yr. old f@rT.

I got a 95% missing the naturalization question but there was one lucky guess in there.

Errrm, if the UK became East Texas, then the whole of the current Texas would be West Texas, and as far as I'm aware (Its one of the states I haven't visited yet!) the weather there is an awful lot better (Taking a mean average across the state.)than the weather is here at the the moment.
In the middle of the summer we are getting spring floods, what's that all about then!!!!!!!!

Actually, half if not virtually all of Texas except for maybe the Trans Pecos, High Plains and desert have suffered weeks of drenching rains, day-in and day-out.
But, under normal circumstances, West Texas is hot, dusty, dreary, barren and sere. It does not have the flora and diversity of the Mojave or the grandeur of the Sahara. It is flat, dirty and mostly populated by oil fields, coyotes and black buzzards.
It is the sort of place that children, starting at about age 7, scheme to get away from when they're old enough. It's primary population and trade centers are Midland, Odessa and Lubbock. Your hero George W. Bush launched his first failures from the area.
It's greatest cultural achievements are friday night High-School football, early marriages and cruising the DQ 1950s style. It is still analog, black and white, and linear in a full color, relational and digital world.
