I wish I could meet some naturists during the course of my job .I drive a mixer so I see lots of people doing things to their houses. Id like to meet someone and tell them about this site or know they visit it. Does anyone else have dreams as such?

Yea, kinda, but I did manage to walk into someones house to repair a window air conditioner (note on the door to go in to repair), and the gentleman woke and walked in the living room, stark naked. He apologized, to which I stated it didn't matter.

Another incidident, I caught a female sunbathing (nude) and the same thing happened, telling her it didn't matter.

Just last year, I worked on an air conditioner, and the gentleman told me come inside, but his wife had to get dressed first. She did, but with a very light robe. That was an opportunity to mention my lifestyle, but opportunity missed.

Both of those incidents happened before my nudist tendencies kicked in. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Well, I don't think it's as impossible as it might sometimes seem. In the past year I've learned that there are several others nearly within a stone's throw from my house - and I never would have suspected, especially not in this self-professed "ultraconservative" neighborhood. I've about decided "we're" everywhere, but sometimes our textile customes are so effective that it's difficult to tell http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif .

yea, the same thing here. some people on this site seem to be shy about answering e-mails. have met some nudists close by from another site. the more you broaden your nudist contacts the better chance you have of meeting someone near by.

Just this week I had to go to Atlanta for a training class for work. As I was driving to Atlanta for the training, I left early enough on Tuesday that I could stop by Rock Haven Lodge in Murfreesboro on my way. It was my first visit there (only second time to a resort) and I only got to visit for about three hours. Anyway, during a break in the training class on the second day I was talking to this guy who was local and he mentioned one of the towns outside of Atlanta and I asked "is that where Paradise Valley is?" He said "you mean the resort?" He asked me if I had been or was going. I admitted to him that I had stopped by Rock Haven on my way down. He confided that he was wanting to go, but couldn't talk his wife into going. I suggested that he visit clothesfree, maybe he could find some info there to help with the wife. He told me he does visit clothesfree often and reads the posts in the forum. Even has some posts bookmarked.

I thought it was neat that I met someone, who I didn't know, that was interested in the naturist/nudist life style. Hope he gets to visit a resort someday soon.

yes, since i work in a place that during the holiday peak hires over a thousand people,i keep hoping to run into one that shares my ideas. as of yet no,or none that admit it.
while i do not carry a sign that says "nudist" around, many are aware of my nudist lifestyle.
the holiday peak is starting now so maybe i will run into one.

I once went to a client's house and, in their master bath, saw a silly picture taken years ago of their children naked with a cartoon character (like big bird or something less well known). I did not comment on it but felt it was a missed opportunity. They are well known in the community and I felt it inappropriate to comment on something that they obviously put in a tucked away part of their home.

Just the other day, across the canal, we noticed that an older grand-parently couple had some kids over to their house (I assume grand children) and the kids were naked going on the slide into the pool. I noticed that their pool is pretty private, but not the slide as it sticks over their fence. I spoke to them a few years ago, but not about nudism. If I see them again, i will ask. Surely they have seen our kids in the pool, as we have less privacy and my son is always naked in the pool and on the screened patio.

I have spoken to numerous clients about the way their families live, and several have stopped short of saying they are nudists. I think that a lot of people are nude at home, but do not consider themselves "nusists". I give little hints that i think a nudist would expound upon if they were interested. No one has taken the bait yet...

I recently had a colleague from another town at our house for the long weekend. We have a big soaker tub and we always tell guests that they are welcome to have a bath. Well we told her that she was welcome to have a bath the first night and she said she could not have a bath just before bed because she gets too hot. The next night we reminded her around suppertime that she was welcome to have a bath. She declined saying then she would have to go around naked. I told her it was okay, whatever made her feel at home. She replied with a comment about "THIS body?????" She commented that it was a surprise that someone would not be offended by a body like hers. I did not pursue the topic. I got the sense she prefers to be alone at home and naked.

How do you take the conversation to the next step? We are fairly new to the social nude arena, so still a little cautious about it at times.
