The first question I have is: define the word Neighborhood. What I mean by that is that the it means different things to different locations. For those living in a city it means an X block area. For those of us in rural areas I would define it as our community, we do not have "blocks". As for me, living in INA Headquarters Country, I would say that there are a fair number in these hills.

The second question, and I think the more important one, is how do we find these people and get to know them. It would be difficult to know of their "nudeness" as a result of how spread out the area is.

nordic...In answer to your second question...Perhaps by ...organizing an event...getting good publicity by staging something that makes the news..Posting flyers at the local grocerystores,trailheads,nearest naturist resorts and any other bilboards in the area... Then of course notices here....How about a Backpacking Nude Life Drawing Workshop in the Wilderness ?( an event that appeals to a large number of naturists ..Right?) As far as we know, we are the only nudists on our block. There was a couple that lived two doors down from us when we first moved in. They were young and had two very small children. The man worked the woman stayed at home with the children.

Since we have a two story home and they lived close enough to us, we could see into their back yard. Many times the woman had her friends, sister, female relatives over and they would either sunbath topless or in the nude. My wife was aware of this also but was not into social nudity at that time to invite them over to enjoy the lifestyle together. We were friendly and always exchanged hello's and such at the mail box but we never got the nerve up to talk to them about nudism.

Sometime past and this couple divorced and they lost their home. The block has changed and we don't know quite as many neighbors as we did when we all moved in almost 20 years ago. We keep hoping to run into either friends or aquaintances at the nude beach or resort so we can invite them over for some skinny dipping and a BBQ.

From what I can tell, we are the only nudists in our neighborhood. I know there are others within two miles from us, but not in the general area.

I know the neighbors know. I'm sure they have seen me through the fence at one time or another. A couple have even carried a conversation while I was nude in the back yard. What a life.

I used to live in a suburban neighborhood with neighbors -- 3 or 4 couples --who were willing to be nude with each other. One night I came home late from work but I beat my wife home. I was getting out of work clothes when I heard a knocking. I checked the front door, no one was there. I returned to hang up my suit and I heard knocking again. Went to the front door but then heard the knocking at the back door. Our neighbors were standing at our patio door nude saying they were in our jacuzzi and would I like to join them. I did. When my wife came home, she joined us too. This was not the first time we have been nude together. Later that night, the 4 of us were sitting at the kitchen table nude and drinking coffee. At about midnight, our friends walked across the street to their house carrying their bathing suits and towels. Apparently no one else was still awake or looking out the window. Oh the good old days!

Several years ago, my wife and I lived in a 2 floor condo. The downstairs neighbor would occasionally have some friends over and they would use her hot tub in the nude. I once tried to convince my wife that we should go down and join the party, but she said "no way" (and we ended up having a fight).

She is quite a bit more open now to being nude in front of other people. She has even agreed to go to nude resort in Mexico next year (Hidden Beach).
