The closest I've been to body painting was using pencils of some sort (there were a couple of dozen people, they didn't want paint to get on their carpet, so I understand using colored pencils)... I wanna try it for real one day!

Most artists I know have painted on their bodies as well as others, regardless as to they being nudists or not ... might be a artist thing I don't know. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif
Somehow, each time I have been the canvas it ends up being a jungle theme ... you don't think it's all the hair do you? http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/goofy.gif

I have often wanted to do it. I am an airbrush artist but have never used people as a canvas. I will do it someday though.

Hey Rebecca. I agree that was very well done even though I have never done it myself. What creativity and imaginations that were at work there!

Nekkidskier,
Great pictures. It looked like everyone had a great time. I really would like to try having my body painted like that and get some pictures to remember the experience by. Does anyone know if there would be a possibility of doing that in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota? I'll be the first to volunteer to be painted. I have a hairy body, will that be a problem? Can we get something going in this area?

Thanks for posting the link to the painting party for the Solstice Festival. I have always wanted to try something like that and would welcome the chance in the DC area. Will have to keep my eyes open for the opportunity. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/rolleyes2.gif

I was painted as Santa Claus and tossed candy canes into the crowd lining the street- even gave them to a couple of cops along the way. It was a blast!

I wonder, how long would a full body paintjob take? I have no idea, are we talking about hours.

Don't know if it would take hours, but even if it did I'd do it just for the experience. What a rush it would be to be clothed and colorful, yet naked and free at the same time. Got paint?

Great photos. The Fremont parade looks like great fun. I lived across the bridge from Freemont on QA hill for several years.
I'm wondering about the paint.
What kind of paint is used for the body decorations?
Where do you buy the paint?
Does it wash off easily?
Does it rub off?
Does it run when you sweat?
I would love to get some paint and try it. Thanks in advance for the info.
Blessings
Bob
