Does anyone think the Tampa Florida area would be ready for a new "Club Paradise" styled ownership based, upscale, "clothing optional" resort. We are considering the development of one.

I'm no expert, but there seems to be many resorts in that area now, and the times we've been there, they're not booked up.
How about another area like the southeast coast?

I think Florida has more then enough resorts... I personally don't care that much for the ones that have gone so upscale.

Who are "we" exactly?
I live five minuets from all the resorts here in Pasco County FL. Personally I think the clubs that are already estbalished are strained enough from competing with one another. I don't think there'd be enough business to support yet another major club unless it had something really special going for it (like a nude water park, which is what I personally want to see).
I agree with the last poster that we do not need more upscale offerings - we need more affordable family oriented places.

Fantastic idea.
More clubs = more options = more opportunities.
And if the club happen to be with a beach near the bay it going to be much more successful as well.

I am with you Doug.... we need more nude beaches... If it wouldn't be so cost prohibitive...an ocean or gulf front resort would be really nice with it's own private beach. Unfortunately....it would be out of the reach of many nudists.

"We" are a group of former and present "nudist resort" operators.

Personally my wife and I cannot afford to own one of the existing resort/condo/time-share whatevers, and I think the market is "ripe" for a less expensive clothing-alternative community.
Here's what I would purpose:
A private fenced community with integrated services such as a convenient store, gas station, laundromat (I know, I know), banking, and small leaseable shop spaces (a mini-industrial park) all within the fenced community.
Obviously the cost of fencing (or landscaping) is going to be higher, but whatever community you decide to build in will appreciate the effort and the "all inclusive" (services) WILL be a selling point.
I suspect there are many, many nudists just looking for a clothing-optional friendly employer as well as a place to live.
Yes, recent reports state most nudists today are over thirty-five years of age, but many of us are well under the age of retirement AND economically challenged by the lack of decent paying local jobs. But there has to be "talent" among the ranks of nudists across the United States and around the world, wouldn't you think?
I would love to incorporate my interest in nudism into more aspects of my daily life, and I feel confident in suggesting there are many more like myself out there. My wife does not share this attitude, but that's okay. She could drive out into the "outside economy" and (hopefully) find textile-complusive employment.
The only other marketing issue you will have to address is convincing people the GIANT waterbugs of Florida won't carry the family dog or kid off to the Everglades!
A nudist community would have so many anti-crime benefits with no concealed weapons or drugs "on person" that it might be a model community for the world to look at.
