Looks like it’s between Mazomanie and Sauk City on county highway Y. A quick Google found these directions…

“From the Northeast: off Highway 41 to right on Route 26, Right on Route 151, and continue south to Sun Prairie. Here turn on Route 19 west to Route 12. Turn right (north) for 9.1 miles to County Y. (It's really Y only if you get to the top of the hill before turning left.) On County Y drive west and north exactly 5.2 miles, and turn right on blacktop Laws Road, which leads left in 1/2 mile onto gravel Conservation Road along the Wisconsin River. Park in the lot and take the short path to the beach. At the beach , go left (downstream) and proceed to the southern-most part of the beach which is clothing-optional.”

Good luck!

Go to Madison, and follow Hwy 12 to Sauk City.

Just before Sauk City you will find Hwy Y. Turn Left (west) and follow Y crossing Hwy 78 and continuing west.
It's a few miles after you cross 78 you will find Laws Rd. Turn Right on it and about 1 mile or so you will see a Park entrance. You need to keep an eye on the signs because Laws Rd isn't marked very well. Just a regular street sign at the intersection.

From the Parking lot it's about a Mile walk down the dirt road. Bring what you need to make it through the day.

Following the Road to the very end will bring you right to the beach. It's been changed since the directions tiger79 gave were written. Now they have porta poddys and a bike rack at the end of the road.
The beach is small but nice. And there is a lot of room to roam if the river is low.

I've only been there once (last summer) but it was a good time. I met some great people, nudist and non nudist.

Try Mapquest, "maps" and just enter "Sauk City Wi." It's pretty easy to find.

Another thought. You might want to rent a canue! There are two or three rental outfits between Sauk City and the beach. They will even (unwittingly) give you directions to the beach by telling you how to avoid the beach. At the end of your day, you paddle the canoe to the rendezvous point and the rental company will drive you back to your car. NO mile long hike down 'Skeeter Ally!
