I know that this is a random question, having to do with ways of having things mailed. For an example I want to have this card/letter mailed like if it was one monday close to noon usually when the mail man comes to our street to drop off mail.Like could I give the letter that I want it to be sent, to the mail man? Also is there like I could just leave the letter/card in the mail box, would the mail man get the letter and send it?I'm just wondering since I have heard this from someone and never thought of that.

Yes it works like that.
If I am not mistaken though, the mail carrier is under no obligation to do so, his only obligation is to deliver what is sent through the post office.
Tradition holds that he does take your outgoing mail from your hand or your box and begin the process of sending it on it's way, the obligation, however is on you to see that it gets to the post office.

If, at the end of your driveway you have a mailbox with a red flag on it, turn the red flag so that it sticks straight up, so that the mailman will know that you have put mail in the mail box for him to take back to the post office for you.

When he retrieves the letters you are sending, he will turn the red flag to the down position once again.

The flag is the key. If it is down, the mailman may or may not pick up the contents. It must be in the up position for him/her to remove the mail. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/smoking.gif

For mailboxes without a flag, the letter needs to be visible outside the box. Most mailboxes have little racks for this; clip the letter on with a spring-type clothespin.

We used to have mail boxes invidually in our area where we live but like since there had to be maintance of the tubes water pipes like since this july, we now have one of those mail boxes smiliar like this picture.
Like if I wanted to get something like a letter/card mailed, and the mailman comes like I give to the mailman would he/she take it?

Or like dude? did you like ask the other tenants or like maybe ask the apartment manager?

Like man dude, like we can't tell tell you what likes gonna happen where you like stay dude.

I am always amazed at how people will like offer up opnions like it was the gospel like, you know what I mean dude?

Like all these people telling you stuff, and they don't know what it's like (hah) in your particular instance.

Like wow man, dude it's like cosmic!

All taht's to say, I ain't got a freeking clue but maybe if you asked to post office delivery person, you'd like find out.

First, put down the bong.

Now, you can give it to your mailman, but be advised. This makes us very cranky. As if we don't have enough to carry around in our overloaded grips.

You know when you're in a restaurant and you get cold food and you send it back? You know what the cook does to it? Yeah, he SPITS in it, right after he nukes it for like, 10 minutes.

This is what we do to people who insist on giving us letters to mail. We remember, and the next time you get mail, well, you can check it for DNA, cuz there will be plenty on it!! And maybe not just spit, if you know what I mean.

Cereally, if you open up the little door to your mailbox, place the letter (stamp-end out) as close to the front as you can, your maildude should pick it up no problemo.
