Got a question about resorts and other landed clubs. Do they (and the patrons) respect privacy? I'm a Navy captain and my wife is a school bus driver. Not sure if our superiors would take it well to find out we've visited a nudist resort. Anyone have experience with this? Any problems?

Hi,

Can't speak with authority on clubs. I can speak for many nudists we have spoken to and become friends with. I think we (nudist) all have a "fear", for lack of a better word, about alot of people, including those at work, about our lifestyle. Most nudist wanna keep things under wraps and let our lifestyle out slowly. Educating those before just blurting (sp?) it out. Clubs don't ask who you work for, addresses, etc. So I'm sure the lid is on your lifestyle until "you" want it known.

Enjoy yourselves, we are! Our grown children know and accept and support us. Life is great!

You have nothing to fear as far as your privacy is concerned. Nothing about you will be revealed to anyone. Any information they require from you is for their own protection.
They will not give out any information you give.

I don't care if most people I know find out I'm a nudist. I often tell people anyway. However, my fellow Christians I don't want to find out. So I understand your not wanting certain people to know. I belonged to Shangri la in AZ and we had a Army couple who were members I believe they were both captains, which is the equivalent to a lieutenant in the navy. I dont remember them worrying about enjoying the lifestyle

An important note is that when visiting clubs and/or beaches people usualy only go by their first names, rarely last names are ever mentioned. In addition when you visit a club I do not believe you would have to disclose your rank as part of your name, so that way you can secure your privacy in that regard. When talking to people in the club just introduce yourselfs by your first name only and use your own judgement as to wether you want to disclose your occupation to some one at the club. If you have questions about the clubs privacy policy just ask them.

I was trying to find a page that talks about what to expect on your fist visit to a club but can not find it hopefully someone here may know of it and can post the page address.

Also before going to a club it would help you to perhaps post the name(s) of the club that you plan on visiting and ask for any info about the place(s). You can go over to Netnude.com look down to the left to find Club/resorts click on USA (if your are in the USA) then find the state your are in and there gives some clubs. Mixed in there are trip reports about various clubs in most states across the US and around the world. This may be a good place to judge as to what club/resort your would like to visit. There is a downside though not all clubs are in there and the trip reports are mainly opions.

I too had similar worries, I'm a Marine. I found that the clubs actually tend to protect your identity. I'm not saying that someone with a legal right couldn't get the info if they wanted it bad enough but it would be difficult.

While I still go to nude beaches a lot one of my greatest fears is to bump into someone I know from work. Though if they were there it would be for more or less the same reason I assume. They could just be going there to get an eyeful, not possible at a nudist reasort.
