If you go to google and type in Jung personality test it will take you to the Myers-Briggs (hope I spelled that right) personality test based on the research of Carl Jung. It takes only a few moments to take the test. What types seem to dominate here?

Nudity or naturism has not been mentiond, so the topic/thread will be moved to "Open Conversation"

"BTW" I'm a "I N T J" on the test. "NG"

Hey Revolutionary, you didn't tell what type you are....... Well ok, you did now http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Me, I'm INTJ. Here's the first part of the explanation which I must admit has some accuracy..........

To outsiders, INTJs may appear to project an aura of "definiteness", of self-confidence. This self-confidence, sometimes mistaken for simple arrogance by the less decisive, is actually of a very specific rather than a general nature; its source lies in the specialized knowledge systems that most INTJs start building at an early age. When it comes to their own areas of expertise -- and INTJs can have several -- they will be able to tell you almost immediately whether or not they can help you, and if so, how. INTJs know what they know, and perhaps still more importantly, they know what they don't know.

I scored as an ISFP. That is interesting because the last time I did this I was an INTJ. The I is usually fairly strong as I am an outgoing introvert. The others have always been on the line.

I'm usually unconvinced these sorts of things have much practical application and/or meaning (and yet I still took it http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif ). For whatever it doesn't mean:

INFJ

very expressed introvert

slightly expressed intuitive personality

moderately expressed feeling personality

slightly expressed judging personality

At least the introvert part comes as no surprise, the rest lacks practical meaning to me.

Extroverted Intuitive Feeling Judging

slightly expressed extrovert

moderately expressed intuitive personality

moderately expressed feeling personality

moderately expressed judging personality

I don't remember the rest of it, but it said I'm introverted. What a surprise. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

I took it I. S. J. T. and it also came up with Inspector Guardian. While I didn't agree with all of it many of the things it mentioned definatly pegged me.

I recently took the MBTI and scored as an Extraverted iNtutive Feeling Perceiving (Extraverted Intuition with Introverted Feeling). ENFP's are known as Inspirers of others.

A fun and highly accurate list of the 16 types is known as the MBTI Prayers.

For we ENFP's it is: "God, help me keep my mind on one th... LOOK A BIRD! ...ing at a time." http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I would be glad to post any of the 16 type prayers if anyone would like to know theirs.

Well, Fred, your statement about "depends on the setting" made me think (and again, who knows why), so I re-did it focusing more on the socially nude/naturist-oriented setting/mind-set. And, my results were slightly different - still INFJ overall but the values changed to:

moderately expressed introvert

moderately expressed intuitive personality

distinctively expressed feeling personality

moderately expressed judging personality

Still unconvinced of the overall significance, but curious,

My wife said the result didn't match my actual character so I will have to answer the questions again to see if I can inmprove http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I have taken the MBTI many times throughout the years. All have been as part of leadership development. What has been interesting is how the profile has shifted throughout the years. I have moved from the slightly expressed introvert to the slightly expressed extrovert. The intuitive part has stayed the same over the years, like the feeling. The judging has moved to perceiving over the years. For the record, I am an ENFP

When nacktman posted the prayer, I immediately identified with it and thought of my students and their prayer:"God, let him stay on one subject as he lectures!"

I encourage all to take the quick test to learn a bit more about themselves. It can be enlightening! http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It seems several us are INTJ's...

I'm a: distinctively expressed introvert

However, like Ben, if I take it again strictly with nudist as a sole perspective, it becomes: slightly expressed introvert.

So am I a different person in a nudist setting? It certainly seems so. Is that a good thing? I don't know...

I had not heard of this test before so I found the results very interesting and close to the mark. I'm an ESFJ - extraverted, sensing, feeling, judging. And 2 famous ESFJs happen to be Bill Clinton and Mary Tyler Moore -- 2 people who I do admire!

It's impossible to answer some questions with yes or no. I would have answered some of them "Depends on the situation" or "Maybe". So those tests can't be absolutely accurate.

What the heck the 16 Prayers for MBTI personalities are:

ISTJ----"God help me to begin relaxing about little details tomorrow at 11:41:32 am."

ISFJ----"Lord, help me to be more laid back, and help me do it exactly right!"

INFJ----"Lord, help me not to be a perfectionist. (Did I spell that correctly?)"

INTJ----"Lord, keep me open to others' ideas, WRONG though they may be!"

ISTP----"God, help me to consider people's feelings, even if most of them are hypersensitive!"

ISFP----"Lord, help me to stand up for my RIGHTS! (If you don't mind my asking.)"

INFP----"Lord, help me finish everything I sta..."

INTP----"Lord, help me to be less independent, but let me do it my way."

ESTP----"God, help me to take RESPONSIBILITY for my own actions even though they're usually not
my fault!"

ESFP----"GOD, HELP ME TO TAKE THINGS MORE SERIOUSLY ESPECIALLY PARTIES AND DANCING!"

ENFP----"God, help me keep my mind on one th... LOOK A BIRD! ...ing at a time."

ENTP----"God, help me follow established procedures today. On second thought, I'll settle for a few
minutes."

ESTJ----"God, help me to try not to RUN everything. But, if You need some help, just ask!"

ESFJ----"LORD, GIVE ME PATIENCE, AND I MEAN RIGHT NOW!"

ENFJ----"God, help me to do only what I can, and trust you for the rest. Do you mind putting that in
writing?"

ENTJ----"God, help me slow downandnotrushthroughwhatIdoAmen!"

It is amazingly accurate how these "prayers" fit each of the personality types. Have a good laugh and enjoy your day. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Interesting test. I am an INTJ for what it's worth. At my age I don't think it will do me much good one way or another to know.

OK. That's it. Let's just start an INTJ club!
(j/k)

According to one of the descriptions, we are in the same group as both Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling. I didn't know they were so well matched personality-wise.

I think the test might not be well written in some parts. Some questions there is only one real answer, or an answer only a really really, honest person would answer, like "You like to keep to your principles". Well duh.

According to this survey, I am "Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging" and that my personality is a combination of "moderately expressed introvert," "slightly expressed sensing," "slightly expressed thinking," and "slightly expressed judging." I think I got off pretty well.

I'm an ISFP (Introvert, Sensor, Feeler, Perceiver) type. Lucky too. When I checked out what jobs ISFP personalities are compatable with, mine was at the top.
