LAKE COMO FAMILY RESORT is having their NUDE U event from June 10-19.

I wanted to go but my summer classes doesnt permit me the time. My main interest of wanting to attend was to meet other nudist that are in my age group. But i also felt that i was to old to be there, being that i am 25. I would like to know if anyone else attended Nude U this year or the previous years? Could you tell us about your experiences, likes, dislikes, or anything that will help inform and educate other young nudist to attend such an event. thanks.

nam: Not to be unkind, but at 25 I think you really need the summer classes:

...my summer classes [DON'T] permit me...
...meet other nudist[S]...
...that i was [TOO] old to...
...other young nudist[S] to...

Um.... Forums are for communication, not grammar. Some people do more thinking/typing than re-reading their posts for gramatical errors... if you nit pick people's posts, you won't have enough time to go get naked and enjoy life. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I am married (40 years) to a once non-English speaker, so that may put a different perspective on my previous response. It was not meant to be unkind. I was just pointing out that grammar classes would appear to be useful to you.

Correct grammar facilitates better communication. If I were to use incorrect construction of your native language I would appreciate your guidance on correct usage. As it is I myself struggle with correct Dutch, French and Spanish language construction, so I appreciate the function of grammatical constructs.

In your defense, the kinds of grammatical slips I noted are very common among many "native English" speakers who put much less thought into using their own language than you have in learning ours, and your grammar may have been influenced by their bad habits, for which I would appologize on their behalf.

TC's post was communication. And his observations were correct. Sloppy use of the language impedes communication.
