Thanks dude, anyone else have any other suggestions?

I like regular baby powder better than talc but try both.

I had the same problem, but higher up. Everything sticking together. I tried talc, but this had no lasting effect.
The problem was solved (and this may sound a bit kinky, but it does the trick), by wearing one or two of those elasticated material loops worn around girl's pony tails. One worn behind the privates is usually enough, and you don't even know it's there, but it does provide a separating material, and makes life down there more comfortable.
The only problem is buying them without looking a prat.

Perhaps I should add that this is worn unseen under clothing, and not in a nude situation, as there's no point in looking a prat there as well.
PS. no offence intended to any male who sports a pony tail!

thanks Dunsunnin , thats a real interesting response and I never would have thought of that, but dont you feel it? I mean thats gotta be weird. I havnt gotten around to buying talc powder yet lol! But when when Im finished typing here I'll go try the baby powder! Thaks Everyone! /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Maybe you could just stop shaving. If God wanted the penis to stop sticking to you he would have given you pubic hair.

semi nudist... that is an interesting point of view. Why is it you don't like the idea of shaving? I think it is not such a bad thing but that is my opinion I am just curious what has put you off to the idea? /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

- Shave with a good shaver (I use Gillette Match 3)
- ALWAYS shave up to down
- Don't give up. After some months your skin get 'customized' and you will shave as easy and natural as your beard
- Shave daily (Or at least every two days)

I recently decided to shave my head--for various reasons I'd rather not go into here--and find that I like it a lot. Now I'm considering shaving my pubic hair as well, but I've done it before (in college) and besides the itchiness, I got several minor cuts on some rather sensitive skin around the scrotum. I also had difficulty getting all the hair off the scrot and around the penis base. Any advice?

When I decided to start shaving my body I asked my friend, who use to be a stripper, and this is the advice she gave me, which honestly, does work! After shaving around your penis and bikini area, put antiperspirant or deodorant on your upper thighs. Then on the rest of your thighs use aftershave. Apparently on men and women the thighs are quite sensitive to shaving and this helps prevent rash. I've been doing it 7 months now and gotta admit, it really does help.

Rather than spend time shaving I visited someone who 'sugars', i.e used a mix of egg and sugar to strip off hair (rather like waxing but easier as it washes off !).

The only time it felf painful was when the bit between my legs was done (where the skin is quite soft) but the skin on the balls can be stretched to make that relatively painless and if you have an erection it makes taking the hair off the shaft of the **** easy too.

The end result is wonderfully smooth and. as the hairs are stripped out by their roots, it stays smooth for days.

Hey Xen, thanks for the advice. Could you be more specific about this sugar mixture you speak of. Hoe do you make it and how much and how do you use it. Thanks much!

Xen

Sorry I don't have a reciepe for the sugar mixture - I think that the ingredients are quite simple (sugar and eggs) but like making a cake there probably something special about the way the mixture is put together.

I have seen the mixture for sale in a regular health shop - but I live in London so that probably doesn't help you too much ! Definitely worth seeking out though.

The only thing I would say is that while you could do it yourself, for the best result someone else has to put it on - and take it off - so if you're having your penis, balls and pubic area done you have to be totally relaxed about a stranger handling them.

i AHVE BEEN SHAVING MY PUBIC AREA FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND ONLY SHAVE THE AREA ABOVE THE PENIS. I SHAVED BY COMPLETE AREA ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO WHAN I HAD THE BIG V. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH STICKING, THAT IS WHI I ONLY SHAVE ABOVE NOW. I ALSO SHEVE MY BUTT FROM TIME TO TIME. MOSTLY IN THE SUMMER. I USE AFTER SHAVE LOTION ON BOTH AREA AND THAT SEEMS TO WORK. I ALSO FOUND THAT SKIN LOTION MADE IT WORST. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/confused.gif

I use baby powder with corn starch.
I works for me whether am smooth or natural.
For me, this method works when clothes are needed and very seldom does anything stick to each other.

Sorry about the cap's http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/sad3.gif I am glad that people are very open in this forum. I enjoy shaving, but my wife doesn't like the feeling. She says that it is like sand paper at night. This is even after just shaving that morning. I find that if we want to get close at night, I need to shave just before going to bed which I do now.

Is there something else I can do?

According to that line of thinking, men shouldn't shave at all, e.g., all men should have full beards and moustaches. That would be natural, wouldn't it. But just look around... the majority of men do shave to one degree or another, as do the majority of women in North America.

Do you shave your beard? I don't find that natural either... Maybe we should stop getting hair cuts, brushing our teeth, and using deoderant too?

The bottom line is it works for us... If it doesn't for you fine but please don't attack.

Thats it Brian just shout it out loud. You have been over for two saunas and I didn't even notice that you were shaved. Its spring again and time for my annual shearing, the head and beard only. I might even get brave and cut it short, well above my shoulders any way. As for the beard I kinda like looking like santa, all the kids love me. My fellow workers at Metals Recycling call me santa. Take care and try not to shave off to much.

I shave every day in the shower with soap and a GOOD disposable razor. I use baby powder afterwards. (I don't any problems with my penis sticking to my leg, unfortunatly)

BrianRI

You probably didn't notice it because the only hair I shave off now is my face, the small of my back, and the pubic hair above the penis. Plus, the lights are usually dimmed. There is not a lot of hair on my stomach or on my back, so being shaved does not stand out as you could see.

I am an on and off again shaver but I have a skin regimen that keeps my skin smooth and soft.

I am always smooth when it comes to my chest, this I keep up year round.

If I am in smooth mood, I either wax or use the depilatory creams. I never shave as I find shaving leaves a rough feel to the skin after a while. From my experience, I have found men who are use razors, and do it often, do not have soft skin. This defeats whole purpose of being smoothie.

Anyhow, I always exfoliate. I exfoliate my skin at least 4x/wk. In addition, after every shower, I rub lotion all over my body. My recommendation is to purchase good brand of lotion. Cheap lotions are not great as they are very watery. Good brands include Jergens, Johnson & Johnson, Neutrogena,,to name a few. These brands have a very milkly and thick texture.

Perhaps you can try these.

Do men with clean shaven faces have problems with their faces sticking to their legs? ... Confused ...

And why do we have to have half a dozen shaving topics discussing the sames things by the same people?

Clothesfree is not a needlepoint forum, not a mushroom-growing forum, not a basketball forum and it doesn't even have anything to do with shaving. It's about naturism.

Because we are naturists, we are aware that some shave so there is some connection.

Clothesfree should then also eliminate posts about religion, politics, humor, and the many other non nudist threads which are on this forum.

It's really interesting to hear you say that...

That is a point which I made a long time ago, but I also stated that it is not a preaching forum. A statement I was criticised for by a select few persons (won't name any names), who subsequently started a (failed) campaign to have me removed as Chief Moderator.

I have to agree, some of the politics threads have been getting a bit heavy, this is a naturist forum, and I'm sure there are fora around to fit any non naturist requirement.

An off topic section wouldn't harm at all, and the occasional drift off topic is tolerable, but to swamp the forum is perhaps too much.

Having said that, I find it easy to ignore any thread that doesn't interest me, unlike some fora where unread posts are flagged, and the only way to un-flag them is to open the post.

Whichever way it goes I still like CFI, its lively and interesting, so I'll stick around if thats OK with you!!

Doug,

If the powers that be want to have off-topic threads, I will participate in some, not in others. That's terribly inconsistent of me, but I never signed an oath of consistency when I registered here.

I still think this would be a better forum if we deleted all political, shaving, u-fill-in-blank threads if they are not naturist. I even suggested that the forum be deleted entirely and we just have the news and naturist photos. I got overruled on that, so I play the golf ball where it lies. But I might still come back and whine about policy that I don't like when I get in a grumpy mood.
