That's sad, but with booming real estate prices, it was probably inevitable.

I believe that Mystic Oaks is one of the oldest nudist parks in the country and was the oldest on the west coast - although it had gone through several name changes. While the current ownership goes back 53 years - the grounds had been used as a nudist park going back to 1933!

Some of the earliest nudist movies - including "Elysia" and "The Unashamed" - were filmed there. The park was known as Elysium Fields (not the one that closed a few years ago!) , Olympic Fields, McConnville, and Mystic Oaks.

Suburban / urban sprawl are taking the parks, one by one.
