It's interesting. Now that I think about it, I haven't had a dream in which I was nude in a long time since becoming a nudist. I used to have them a LOT.

I see That only one person has said that the dream was erotic.

That means one of two things people are not being truthfull or we are honestly not interested.

I hope I am not wrong, but, just because we are naturists/nudists does not mean that we can not have normal desires.Including fantasy(dreams)

Be honest if you had one(erotic dream), guess what YOU ARE NORMAL! If you have not had one keep trying.

I believe that many people have had a dream in which they are naked among clothed people in an everyday situation.

I have had this dream on a number of occasions. I feel somewhat uneasy about being naked, but no one seems to notice. I don't feel happy or horny or horrified, so I answered "other".

While for me this type of dream is not erotic, I do have erotic dreams from time to time. An interesting example of the separation of nudity and sex.

Like you, I had the dream often, before becoming a nudist, but it hasn't recurred even ONE time since then. Amazing! It has made me often wonder: Was that my subconscious mind telling me I should become a nudist? I had long had a conscious curiosity about nudism and jumped at the first opportunity to try it. It seemed to fulfill a hole in my life, and the dream stopped immediately!

Also, I used to be occasionally drawn to visit topless bars, even though I couldn't really afford the high prices in them. Since becoming a nudist, I've never had any desire to return to one!

I've had them too, but they don't really emphasize nudity. Just contact with sexual parts, sometimes skin-to-skin, sometimes not. This bolsters, for me, the idea that nudity and sex are indeed separate things. The "naked" dreams I used to have were never sexual, as I recall. And the erotic dreams didn't stop. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I often dream about being the only naked person in a situation, sure Ive had nude erotic dreams but more often than not they are about ordinary everyday situations and Im just naked neither ashamed or excited. /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

My nude dreams are usually about being naked 24/7/365 in almost every social situation. If a dream of going to the high school reunion (nude) and finding out that the cute little tease in study hall is still a cute little tease qualifies as erotic,so be it. But I doubt it.

I have had a number of nude dreams. One that was especially happy was a vacation to CapDeagde,France to spend an entire week naked at the beach, shopping, dining, etc. Another was at a party where there was about a dozen people nude and the rest clothed and nobody cared. I also have had erotic dreams but thats a totally different story.

Ok. After remembering the one and only dream I've had of being nude since becoming a nudist, I voted yes, and it was a happy dream.

I've had naked dreams before, but none since becoming a nudist. So, my answer to the poll question was Yes.

Hey all~
Since becoming a Naturist, I've only had a couple of nude dreams.
The one I remember is a play on the dream that most people have. The one where you are in a social situation and you are nude, but no one notices and you feel all embarassed because you are the only one that realizes that you are nude.
In my version, I'm still nude, but I'm totally at peace and comfortable with it and everyone around me who is clothed reacts like I'm some kind of leper or something. I'm totally ammused with their reactions and can't see what their problem is.
Oh, I just remembered another one! I had another dream in which i was at this Nudist resort/hotel/waterpark all rolled into one. Everyone was nude and having a normal nice time. Wishfull dreaming/thinking perhaps?

I have always had dreams where I was naked and all of them were fun dreams. Usually, I was naked in a public place such as school, a street, or a parking lot, but as soon as I realize that the people around me don't care, I am not embarrassed.

As for the choice of "erotic" dream, I have had a couple of "erotic" dreams but I am not concentrating on what I am wearing as much as the situation. I'm sure that I have been naked in an "erotic" dream, but it wasn't the nudity that was important.

At about the age of 6-8 I would have a dream of just walking out of my house and being naked. I would play out in the neighborhood completely nude and not think anything of this. I do not know where this idea for a dream came from, but I would occasionally dream this.

In my dreams I am nearly always nekkid and frequently fly around and can see the roof tops and the people below. I occasionally have erotic dreams, especially around the full moon, but then, I am a moon child, and it just happens, but regardless of that, I am comfortable with my nakedness in my dreams and am frequently the only person nude. Never been able to figure that out, but I guess I just feel comfortable with myself inspite of others lack of interest in nudity.

I have several recurring and/or continuing subject dreams. At least three involve nudity on my part. The themes generally are being naked in a group of clothed and nude people. One is a nightmare when a friend or friends walks into my backyard when I am sunning nude.

I'm not sure what to answer for the poll since I almost always forget my dreams soon after I wake up!

I kinda wonder if the people who say they don't have "naked dreams" after becoming nudist really don't, or whether they simply fail to notice as readily whether people in their dreams have clothes or don't. What do you think--maybe the issue starts becoming irrelevant?

When I was a kid (in the mid 70s), before I realized I was a nudist, I used to frequently have dreams where I was with friends (male and female) in normal kid-type situations (such as at waterslide parks, at Disneyland, playing baseball, etc.), and everybody was nude. Now that I'm a nudist, it's interesting to reflect upon these early dreams, and how my subconscious was speaking to me about nudism way back then. Presently, I have nude dreams like this sometimes, but not as often as when I was a kid.
