Wife Wont Go, Should I be punished?

Ok, Im new to this site, and I have been going our local CO beach, not nearly enough. Here is what I am up against: My wife of 11 years (we have been together for over 25 /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif )is not interested in going nude in front of other people. Ok, I can handle that, I respect her for her decisions as she does mine. My problem is what if I want to go to a resort, case and point is I would like to go to Nudestock at Laguna Del Sol this year, my wife has no interest in going, I know they want you to bring your spouce.
Am I doomed to face only the CO beaches? Is this fair? Is it even legal in a descrimination sort of way, not that I would ever take any legal action any way. I dont mean to sound like an oger or anything I am just curious. By the way anyone else going to nudestock this year? Thanks for listening and for any input.

I have been to Lupin many times without my wife when on business to San Jose. Its never been a problem. I did get to take my wife once. It's really not her cup of tea.
I want to try Glen Eden. I have heard stories both ways. I will post my experience after I go.

Go for it I have never been there but I have heard nothing but good things about the place. I bet you have a great time wish I could go. By the way when you say local clothing optional beach do you mean San Onofre? Just curious. I bet a lot of us on this forum actually go there and have even walked past each other on the beach there.

Hey thanks for the feedback. I wasnt sure if I wanted to go, for fear of being turned away, I am making plans to go. This will be my first so Thanks you guys, hope to see you there. In response to the San O... beach, sorry it wasnt that one, I actually never heard of it. When I can find time to travel the closest beach for me is Pirates Cove.

You should check this place out San Onofre is just south of San Clemente. Take the Basilone rd exit and continue S. past the nuke power plant to the state park entrance then go all the way down to the end of the parking lot to trail 6. Lots of us nudes down there on the weekends I'd say close to 500 on a busy day.

UR naked and so are we! Read your post and was curious whether or not your dilema was simular to mine. My wife began as a home nudist, then outside in our private back yard. It took quite along time to get her to the CO beach. After going to the beach a couple of dozen times a year for three summers, she finally began to talk to the wives of couples we had met. Mostly very general talk about the weather, things like that. We've met several very nice and friendly couples at the beach and now have started a close friendship with one. My wife is much more comfortable in the social nude setting than she was a few summers ago. So much so that we have discussed nude vacations with this couple. My point, patience, lots and lots of patience. Once your wife has become comfortable enough to socialize at the beach, the rest is downhill. It's going that way for us.

I also plan on being at "Nudestock" in mid-Sept. Hope to see you there. I'm on a waiting list for an RV site. Maybe the INA staff could set up a particular time at their booth for us forum contributors to get to meet one another. It's a great place...my first visit was in mid-July. Bring your bicycle for a nice naked ride to the nude beach on the banks of the Consumes River. (not too far to walk if you choose).

I'm in the same situation with my wife. At "Laguna" for the first time I was at first turned away until I informed the receptionist that I am a member of INA.

I am being told not to worry about the fact that my wife will not be accompanying (sp) me to Nudestock, and then Nude Rick says he had a problem with getting in until he informed them that he was a member of INA. I am unforntiatly (sp) not a member if INA as of yet. I dont want to miss the event, and I certainly dont want to be turned away, What do you folks think of my situation? /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Laguna is also associated with AANR and TNS. If you belong to either one of them I belive you could get in. Call to be sure. Website is in the "places to get naked" section right here at INA. Ask for Corey. She conducted my interview for first time visitors. Also, this would be a good time to join INA!!
