If anyone would like to share their home, spare RV, apartments, etc with the victims of hurricane Katrina, please visit http://www.katrinahousing.org and submit your information asap.

You can offer up housing space for victims, and hurricane survivors (or people on their behalf) can search for available rooms/houses/apts/etc. This site is working in cooperation with the efforts of Red Cross, FEMA, MoveOn.org and other support organizations.

"Please distribute this website widely across the web. We already have dozens of people posting, but we will need thousands more in order to make many housing options available to Katrina survivors."

I agree those doing the shooting should be left to rot, but would you condemn thousands of innocent people just for the actions of these wackos and a$$holes?

The vast majority of the victims desire and need aid desperately, and are waiting in what can only be desciribed as hell on earth. Should we just pack up and leave because of a few punks with guns think they are in control?

I honestly consider these gunmen & snipers as no better than the middle eastern terrorists. No mercy should be shown to them and they should be shot on sight.

Hey, I think this is how most people feel. In a sense,it's like biting the hand that feeds you! But I will point out something here. That is only a small percentage of the people doing that. But the sad thing is they will ruin for everyone else!
