Looks like someone scarfed up the domain....or, somehow a mistake was made and the wrong stuff wound up on the wrong server.

Quite Strange...
I had the same results. I did a "whois" query, which still shows INA as the domain name registrant. Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.

We had a major server crash at clothesfree.com. It should be fully restored by tonight or tomorrow if all goes well.

Thank you everyone for your understanding!

I've been wondering what happened... I hope the damage wasn't too serious!!!

It was gone and back and gone again (with a totally different website popping up every time I tried to get it) but now it's back just as I'm about to walk out the door--with a little luck it'll still be here when I get home!

Good luck and Peace,
Kevin

Last night, I got the acid washing site, but now things are back to normal. Thanks guys for keeping us informed of the 'system crash'. Hope things don't get messed up again. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/smoking.gif

Would someone please explain what the "acid washing site" is about - never heard of it and certainly dont know how to use it. All I know is I couldn't get onto Clothesfree for about 2 days.

OK, it's still here! That's about six hours today that I've had access to Clothes Free Forums again.

Peace,
Kevin

OK i'm getting CFI, but only as a page of the acidwashers site. I have the acidwashers top header, with the pink truck, and the side menu, but the page content is CFI. it's TWO sites in one!! what a deal! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif

your halfway there! keep up the good work!

do the Acidwasher people know about this junk?

12-17-2006, 07:03 AM
I dont know why, but I had to right click in the CFF frame and select view this frame only. before i got CFF across the whole screen. I made a new bookmark and everything is working now... good by Acid washers. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/applause.gif

post edited.... NOT OK. I clicked the "back" and still only see CFI in an Acidwasher Frame.

Segnet, you may need to delete your cache of images if you keep getting this AcidWashers frame problem. I think the AcidWashers site is run by the same admin team, and some files probably just got inadvertently swapped.

For the last couple of days CFF was inaccessible until some time after noon and then gone again the next morning. But it's 11:30 and it looks like everything is just fine from where I am. Hope that's the case for every one else.

Peace,
Kevin

I'm still getting the two sites in one also, as of Monday, Dec. 18th, at 8:40pm West Coast time. This is really irritating.

Try clicking on refresh or reload.

12-19-2006, 12:33 AM
Hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard while hitting the refresh/reload button in your browser. This should load the most current copy of the page and images.

Sandman you just solved a problem that’s been bugging me on my desktop but not my LapTop.
Mostly on CFI/CFF I couldn't edit or open photo album images or do a full reply, or go into admin bottom two selections. It says java error and IE-7 shows a red circle with a diagonal line through it.

The two are configured exactly the same. Been trying everything. Just tried your hold down the shift and now all those functions work again. Very strange problem.

Thanks

Thanks very much, Sandman. This fixed the problem. Works great now.

I deleted my "cache" and that took care of that... no more acid washers PERIOD!!!

I use Firefox for a browser, it is Mozilla based. if you have netscape or any other mozilla based browser, you can do that by initiating a "clean-up" or "remove personal data"

I don't know how IE works. should be similar.

Nice to hear everyone is alive.

I read the same time (thursday night) blew up especially hard Solar wind, about million times harder as normally, crushing lot of Satellite technique, so I suspect perhaps something has been happened physically with INA headquarter equipment.

Was that server crash made due a certain some viruses/hacker activitiees?? Or just due really that Solar electromagnetic field superlevel. Or mechanical reasons (HDD wear etc)??

For me it would be nice to learn something from such misfortune.
Please tell it if someone may.

Sandman

I had a networked system used for CFI crash the Operating system [Windows XP Professional] when a power supply kept resetting or shutting down the system and corrupted the operating system on the hard drive. I pulled the hard drive and put it on a external USB-2 drive and installed a new hard drive and installed a new operating system, copied some programs and history, data, images over to the new system.

Thats when I started experiencing problems posting and opening photo albums, and doing other tasks on CFI.

Your recommendation to hold the shift key solved this problem when it comes up.

Can you briefly explain what happens or not when you hold down the shift key while selecting links, HTML, or files such as opening photo albums images.

Thanks
