I'm going to Ocean City MD soon and was wondering if anyone knew about the beach at assateague island. How is it and do the patrols harass you very much? Is it OK for families.

I was wondering the same thing. If you find out anything let me know. By the way, do you know of any good places to go in Virginia? Not resorts, but just someplace relaxing outdoors where one can go nude?

Gentlemen, just a quick note about Assateague Island, last August a friend of mine & i went there when i happened to be in Hampton Roads on business, and i took the weekend off be wih her. She used to go often up till a couple of years ago, and she loved to romp around there in the nude, but, laws have changed, and local law establishment seems to have stepped up their enforcment as well. We had an OK time, but we were mildly uneasy the whole time, and after a couple of mimosa's and after we had shot a couple of rolls of film of her, we headed back to her place, and spent the rest of the weekend enjoying the sun in her backyard. My advice is, be very careful. My friend remembers it being a place more for couples and singles than a family place, and we did not see any families there, just a few lone guys and one other couple. Saw two patrol cars on our way in, and they didn't venture out where we were, but their presence was tangible, hence our discomfort. don't let me discourage You, just be careful.
