View Full Version : Siblings and Freedom to be nude

Curiosity Poll, though with four questions, I must seem real curious. A thought occurred to me that the presence, number, and gender of siblings might have an effect on the amount of freedom that nonnudist parents might allow their nudist children.
I, myself, am an only kid, but I was secretive about being a nudist. Now I live on my own, but my mother's "Oh Well" reaction back when I was 7 and she caught me in my room watching TV nude has me wondering.

I felt the last question was a bit hard to answer, in that neither my parents nor siblings know that I am a nudist, and the fact that I live alone in my own place. There could have been a question about those still living at home and those on their own.

On that last question, you can mark as many responses as seem to fit. When I gave my answers, I answered as if I were still living "at home", which wasn't that long ago.

Even I'll admit that fourth question was a little confusing, as I was stuck between two answers. I walk around the house in the buff when nobody's there, but otherwise I limit myself to my room (it's in the attic, so I don't have to worry about closing doors).

is this poll designed for youngsters living at home with their parents?? boy am i confused. i am married with kids, and answered accordingly....
Since the poll is posted in the Young Naturists section, I assume it's for Young Naturists. Besides, the questions don't really apply to any who aren't still living at home with parents and siblings, so I didn't answer them since they don't apply to me.

Moboy, have you had a DNA test done to make sure?

I made a similar assumption that the questions were only for those living at home. However, brings up an interesting point. How open are you with the rest of your family about being a nudist. Even if they aren't under the same roof, how many told their parents about your lifestyle?
My parents were long gone before I got into social nudity. My dad would have had no problem with it, but my mother would have been shocked.

My parents both know and have no problem with me going nude but they do not agree with my views. The same for my brothers and sisters. Even though my children grew up around me being nude and went to some nude places with me and enjoyed nudity when young, they have "Outgrown" it for now.
All my family have known for many, many years.
My dad died when I was 16, but he would not have cared.
Someone told my mother about 26 years ago, that I went to the free beach, in an attempt to discredit me. My mother's comment, "What's wrong with the narrow-minded buggers?"
My two sons go to the free beach, if they feel like it.
My second wife and I have been nude on the beach with my eldest daughter and her husband. She kept her bikini on, but didn't care that her husband was nude, like us.
I was brought up to be open-minded, and most of my family seem to have followed suit.

There are no nudists in Arkansas! It's against Arkansas law to think about nudity.
At the Arkansas Welcome Centers along the state line at every major Interstate highway, the greeters pass out the following guidelines to visitors:
Welcome to Beautiful Arkansas, the Natural State!
Say the following sentences, repeating them as often as necessary until you know them by heart. They are your only hope for avoiding jail time in our fair state:
I will not think about being naked.
I will not think about naked people.
I will not advocate that people get naked.
I will not go naked in Arkansas.
If I feel a naked thought coming on, I will depart Arkansas immediately.

I was born in the natural state in the Natural State. Of course, I was covered immediately to insure none of the nurses(or doctors)were to get unnecessarily excited there in the delivery room and start humping anything and everything in sight. While my mother breast fed me, it was done under the covers in case someone came in the room and was offended enough to call the police and have my mother arrested for incest. I now live in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma? I'm so sorry to hear that.
I would now like to update a post I wrote a little over a month ago. Since that post, I have moved into a single-floor house on the other side of DG-IL where all the bedrooms are right next to each other. It's limited my nude time even more, though I do get away with walking nude to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
On the bright side, I just made a recent discovery. While I have no nudist relatives, I have learned that I have an uncle, an aunt, and my last surviving grandparent (my mom's mom) all sleep in the buff. But in the event that they walk out of their rooms, they slip on terrycloth robes (the irony). At least I'm now part of a rich closet-nudist tradition.
I have been out of the house for a long time, but answered about the past. I have 2 sisters, 1 older, 1 younger. While we were not exactly nudists, seeing each other nude was not a big deal in our house; it was usually a brief encounter in the hallway and nobody hurried or covered up.
Neither of my sisters is in to social nudity as an adult, my interests just grew more as I got older.

Yet another breakthrough for me: my sister discovered this site under my "Favorites" folder by accident and was seemingly unfazed. She's definitely not a nudist (she's semi-conservative in terms of clothing), but if she doesn't care, that's a small victory for me.

I guess you might say that I am still in the youngster category. My older brother and I were raised by our father who is a proud nudist. The three of us live naked all of the time. The minute we enter our home, the clothes come off.
