Hubs & Torrents

This is a section for miscallenous posts. So, my miscallenous question is -
1)what are your most used dc++ hubs and
2)which are your most used BitComet torrents

Just between the zillions over the world its quite difficult to identify the geographic location.

Mine most used torrents for current time are www.fano.lv (http://www.fano.lv) and torrentportal.com

From hubs some are alfa.hub.lv:3412 and hub.secure.lv:4111 and dchub.hacker.lv:4012

3) If someone dont know about I am speaking, dont shy to ask. Even I am `old elephant in a glass-store` myself, who just ago acknowed with all that, I may shortly explain what is for what, hopefuly.

4) my aim was to seek out things unsearcheable with a Google, to find out where are really good stuff and where are crowding "our brothers" naturists. Maybe even exists somewhere specific naturist-orientated hubs???

DC++ is a variant of Direct Connect (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_Connect_network), a protocol for peer-to-peer file sharing. Torrents (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent) refer to a form of distributed file sharing where different servers host small packets of large files. The torrent itself essentially tells the client where and how to obtain the pieces of the large file.

Okay, as in the country where still exists American Government prohibition to sell a new and powerful computers, I had idea that ALL Americans are some 5 or 10 years affront of us at all technologies.
First contra-shock was about US movies what only in last couple of years show actors are using mobile phones, or permanently has problems about network holes at most critical need. My first mobile was brand old Nokia NMT-450 at 1989, 3-liter tin size, while this moment average inhabitant have more mobiles as one (me too, just keeping it in a reserve).

But let back at the theme

dc++ is system where you install a specific program what allows to label a certain folder as public. So, all the thousands people having password to your favorite hub may download your folders and you may load their`s. Mainly all content can be categorized as music, movies, e-books and programs. File oversee engines named a `hubs` have indexed all users content in a searcheable way, so You may or choose to search an item if you may name it or you may choose a concrete computer and find all what is there suitable in. `Hublists` are superengines having listings of existing hubs. Hubs factually are millions and each contains a local data about thousands of residents. Typical data size are hundreds of terabytes in each hub.

Contrary, `Torrents` are concurent system where you dont know the concrete computer IP and can`t search its content except the `Seed` and `Peer` content when seed activated it and peer help to dissipate it. So file system diversity is much smaller. Exists many torrent clients, most stable is `micro-torrent=u-torrent`, most powerful/quick is `BitComet`. Torrent searchers are thousands over the net, each contains a data about thousands of movies, music, TV shows, books, softwear. Some trackers need a password, some not.

Comparing both, torrents are faster to download and contains a newest movies, yet the content is much narrower as dc++. Dc is only way to share the part of content of computer without of a least censure, except the IP is to be seen
