Six completely naked men
posed in Germany's parliament building, the historical Reichstag.

The fun happening was part of photographer Henning von Berg's whimsical group shoot "NAKED BERLIN - The Liberal Capital" about nudity in public. The goal was a social-political statement:
modern Germany is a liberal country and its citizens are very relaxed about nudity.

The idea was, to show the action (nude amateur models) and the re-action (passers-by and tourists). Hundreds of pedestrians answered positively, they applauded and whistled and smiled.

Please view details of the 1999 shoot at:

(( Don't misunderstand me. I certainly know that Germany is not perfect at all. But it learned lots of lessons from the dark history and nowadays the majority of people is quite tolerant and open-minded. For sure, today Germany is more liberal then many other countries worldwide. Even though some proud nations like to call themself "Land of the Free" and "Motherland of Democracy". ))

In 2005, I photographed totally nude women in downtown Sydney. The series "NAKED SYDNEY" turned out differently. The re-action of Australian people was quite amusing. Most passers-by were completely shocked and looked away quickly. The roots of the prudish British-Victorian Empire are still obvious.

In 2006, I will create "NAKED MONTREAL" with a group of nude women and men in Canada. Many people already filled out an application for this upcoming fun art happening.

My artistic motto: "Provocative photos for people who understand the fine difference between sexuality and sensuality!"

What about YOU? Can you help and provide support?

I am planning to continue the non-commercial series with groups of nudes in public in many other countries. Do you have suggestions for interesting cities?

Brave models should apply with some pictures:
