Anybody know of any loctions in Oregon or Southern WA besides the well known spots? I'm looking for some lesser known places where others go. Sometimes I prefer secluded places, but having a few other nudists around makes it feel safer.

You might try and find a guidebook to hotsprings of the Northwest. I have found that many hotsprings have a tradition of clothing optional use. I suppose you know the clubs like Sqaw Mountain and Restful Haven and the two major beaches Rooster Rock and Colins Beach on Sauvies Island? There is also Bagby and Couger/Terwilliger hotsprings and many more.

Thanks for the info, but yes, I do know of all those places.

I was more interested in lesser known areas. I read about some place on the beach in Newport, some place in S. Oregon on the Applegate River, and about some place near Alsea Falls. I was hoping to get more info on any of them or others not in the guidbooks or listed on web sites (yet).

Since WA doesn't have any legal c/o beaches...you will need to be pretty careful where you go. I personally like the safety and legality of the OR c/o beaches and the variety of people that go there and the care they take in preserving the c/o status of the beaches. It would be wonderful if more sites became nude friendly, especially in WA...we could use some up here!

Have you ever been to the Oregon county fair near Eugene? It is a clothing optinal event held each summer on private property. It is a pretty hippy kind of a deal but from what I have seen a very fun one. I think your best bet regarding finding these out of the way locations is to hook up with a non-landed nudist group. There is also a skinny dipping spot in southern Oregon east of Ashland off of old Dead Indian road at an abandoned quarry. I have also come upon a solitary nude sunbather at Emmigrant lake also in that vicinity. Not that many nude venues in southern Oregon. Good luck
