Artist Terry Rodgers (http://www.terryrodgers.com/index.htm) incorporates non-sexual nudity into many of his paintings. A great many seem to be 'party' scenes, but nothing untoward is depicted, in fact it rather reminds me of many house parties I've attended - except all the people are 'beautiful'.
However he has many naturist scenes too, including several nude beach (http://www.terryrodgers.com/paintings/archive/archive_09.htm) and scenes (http://www.terryrodgers.com/paintings/archive/full/hiscollection.htm) of domestic (http://www.terryrodgers.com/paintings/archive/full/hearevil.htm) family (http://www.terryrodgers.com/paintings/archive/full/sentimentalunities.htm) life (http://www.terryrodgers.com/paintings/archive/full/boyz.htm) including unremarkable nudity.

A lot of the paintings are of anorexic, drugged-out women at parties; however, the beach and pool scenes are great.

I like the family and pool scenes but not the party ones. Just me. I did notice almost everyone was looking away. Maybe the artist likes side profiles. Also there was a lot of alcohol. I'm not against drinking but I am in favor of moderation (and yes I know it isn't real but still).

How is it that you can tell how much they've been drinking? I can't get any of them to submit to a breathalyzer test.

To add to my earlier comments, I did notice that a lot of the nudes had tan lines. Maybe he is trying to show that there are those who enjoy the nude lifestyle, but are not able to. Like many of the nudes here, they are able to enjoy the sun at times, but are not able to be nude as much. But the pics are a great work of art. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/smoking.gif

Yes, the following website states that he works from photographs:
http://art.webesteem.pl/12/rodgers_en.php
"Rodgers asks friends, acquaintances, professional models, and, sometimes, total strangers, to pose for him in a photography session. He then builds a scenario in a painting by pulling together elements from a wide array of photographs."
I don't think the use of photographs devalues his art. There still are elements of composition, color, and lighting involved. Thomas Eakins followed the same approach more than a century ago.
I don't think the artist takes himself too seriously. The blonde chick toward the lower left looks like Paris Hilton:
