Snagged this from PilotOnline.com. It sounds like the guy may have been a little crazy or high. Anyway, the indecent exposure charge shouldn't stick since he was just being naked but we'll see. Bob S. is from around that area...what do you think??

Oh the charge will stick. I am not going to defend anything he did. I am not sure why he did it, but nothing so far has been said about alcohol or drugs and seeing the video on the news, it didn't look like it either.
He may not have been charged with anything serious had he not stripped and ran into the ocean while the police were questioning him. That was immensely stupid. And idiotic was to attack the officers.
Don't defend this idiot.

The guy was minding his own buisness, enjoying the morning, when the blue gun thugs set out to destroy him. They succeeded. Probably "hit" the gun thug's fist with his chin. Another good man beatten, abused, and caged.
America was once a free country. Now we are a police state with roving gangs in blue suits out to seek, find, and destroy.

Bobx. What article did you that said he was minding his own business? I did not see that anywhere. I did not see why the police were called for anything more than him being nude. IS this a beach that has problems or has signs posted against nudity? I don't know, do you?
If the police came, told the guy to keep his shorts on, as they had a call about him being naked and he freaked out and ran into the ocean and drown who would cry fowl then? They were just doing there job. Enforcing the laws.

Nothing in the news stories says he was doing anything else but enjoying the sun, sand, and ocean -- minding his own business.
The blue gun thugs are unable to accept that someone, somewhere, might be enjoying himself and set out to interrupt his morning. He attempted to AVOID confrontation with the blue gun thugs by every means possible, runing, and then swimming away.
The blue gun thugs are not content that there is nobody who needs "protection." Nobody being hurt. Only a man enjoying the morning. The blue gun thugs got boats, off road vehicles, and used up all their exoebsuve sports equipment that they bill the taxpayers for.
So he was unable to escape the confrontation, they escallate, and escallate and chase and destroy. The blue gun thugs chased him by sea and by land and forced a confrontation, after which they chained and caged him. Brutal violence on our beaches.
At any time during the sequence of events the blue gun thugs had the option of avoiding a fight, but they take steroids and itch for fights. Fighting is what they do. At any time they could have restored peace to the beach by taking all their expensive sports equipment and going home, but blue gun thugs are like bulldogs on a rabbit. They fight and beat and attack. A man who gets into their sights is done for, no matter how hard he tries to avoid a confrontation the blue gun thug gangs will corner and beat him.
I read the same report you did. Its how they work. They refused a peaceful settlement. A long time ago America was a free country. Now we live under police state brutality.

I know a lot of police officers. Most would have handled the guy as a nuisance and possible mental case, but probably not worth more than a check to make sure he wasn't dangerous and a 'keep you clothes on and go home sir'. Sounds like that is how this situation started.
In most cases I'd agree with the police account that the guy went off and became deranged and/or violent. Not uncommon.
But who knows, Bob may be right. After all, we ARE becoming a police state (to the disgust of plenty of police). Things like what Bob describes have happened in LA, and Philly, and plenty of other places. And it is happening more often with zero tolerance policies and amped up terrorism fears fueling increased over-reactions. Even with ubiquitous cellphone cameras and police dashboard cameras recording the events.
Nothing worse than a naked terrorist, better to err on the side of extreme brutality, or else Osama wins.

I didn't see the video. I wondered if he had a couple screws loose; I mean, running away and then attacking police.
You're right, though, if he had just calmed down they would have given him a warning.

Well then, I am sure glad I live on this side of the border. Things are still saner here.

Do you actually believe any of what you wrote? Must really suck to feel so persecuted.

Yes, it does suck to have such persecution of men in our society.
How many men must be beatten to death on our streets before the public comes to say its too many?
How many unarmed men must be shot 47 times in the back before the public comes to say its too many?
How many times must we be stopped by armed highwaymen and robbed of our purses before the public comes to say its too many?
How many million men must be locked in cages before the public comes to say its too many?
How many men must be chased down, beaten, and tossed into a cage to have their lives destroyed for being caught on a beach before the public comes to say its too many?
Yes, we do have men beatten to death for "looking suspicious" all the time. It does really suck in a land that once was a free country.
Blessings
