View Full Version : how many weeks until beach time?
well, it has been a mild, but very grey winter here, and cabin fever is at full effect! I figure it will me end of May-ish before I get back to beautiful Patricia Beach in Manitoba!

I won't be able to get to the beach or a resort until the Friday of Memorial Day weekend.

krc,
Take your tea kettle, heat water on your stove and dump it into that pool of yours! Otherwise it might be July before the ice on your pool is too thin to skate on!
Alternately, come see us! It's getting warmer by the day here. It was shorts and tee shirt weather yesterday. (Actually nude weather when no one is looking). I haven't had to turn the heat on lately. The sun has done such a splendid job heating my house that the heater stays off. We may have one more frost, but all the trees are blooming, birds are coming back in droves from the tropics. It's time to till the garden. Spring planting is just 3 or 4 weeks away.

27,000 gallons of water. How many times will I be running out there with the tea kettle? We still have about 2 months before people around here are able to use their pools.
I will just take the sunshine for now and watch the gardens grow.
