Hello Champion34,

The club is Emerald Lake Nudist Resort (http://www.emeraldlakeresort.com/). It's about 1/2 mile north of FM 1314, between Hwy 59 and Loop 494 in Porter, TX. I've been there several times, and enjoyed my visits. They've got a 12 acre spring-fed lake in the middle of their 22-24 acre park. So the lake stays cool, even in the HOT Houston Summer!

However, here's some news from 26-Sep-05, right after Hurricane Rita:
"Hurricane Rita Damage Report - Emerald Lake Resort

The front fence along Loop 494 and down the side of the park has been blown down by the wind.

The club owner says they have to get some heavy equipment in there to reset the poles anchoring the fence and then they should be able to re-bolt the fence to the new poles. It will take until this weekend or longer to get the poles reset and the fence back up. Until then there is no privacy on the club grounds. The front gate will also have to be rebuilt.

There was no apparent damage to the club house or the trailers set up there."


You'll probably need to check with the club to verify when the fences are back up, and nudity is OK on the property again.
