NEARLY half of Brits regularly chat to friends and family on their home phone NAKED, a survey has revealed.


So this morning the DJ at Washington DC radio station had people call in to see if they do this. Several people mention they like to roam around the house in the nude.

I'm not sure it means much. Lots of people have a phone in their bedroom, and if it rings just as they're getting out of the shower there's no reason for even a bonafide prude not to answer it.

On the other hand, we've learned that at least a couple of our friends who are very modest about what they're willing to be seen wearing spend a lot of time alone at home either nude or in their underwear.

Well, if they lived in a certain western state of the US they'd better not ... it's illegal there (no I am not kidding ... just can't remember which state it is at the moment).

Also, I think the other 50% are lying, I mean the phone always rings when you're in the shower, dosen't it?

My wife is a bright person, and in most respects is a fast learner. However there is one lesson she can't seem to grasp. No matter how many times I tell her that I am not interested in taking phone calls while I am actually in the shower, she still insists on bringing the cordless phone to me when someone calls. I remember reading that about 50% of Americans do housework in the nude/semi nude. I am one of them. Not at all unusual for me to do dishes, scrub/vacumm floors, answer the phone, ect. Never a problem with our friends. My family has learned to knock loudly before entering. My girlfriend's family still suprises us now and then.
Until tecnology advances to the point of automatically including a picture of the recipient of a simple phone call, I see no
problem. That would stop a lot of telemarketers.

That would be Florida according to this website (http://www.goofball.com/jokes/facts/990817_stupidlaws). You also can't take a shower on Wednesdays in Cheyenne WY.

Oh, and no passing gas in public after 6pm on Thursdays anywhere in Florida.

That explains why my clocks are all three hours fast. I thought Florida was on the east coast.
