Well Guys, It happened. Actually, I was expecting it for months. My reserve unit has been activated!
This may explain why you haven't heard from me in a while. I have enjoyed joking and arguing with you all and I will miss you terribly.
Now its down to the wire. Gotta write one last time before I go. By this time tomorrow, I will be many miles away in SC and by this time next week, I'll be in a tent in a remote, desolate area in the desert of some barren Mideastern country. You all know where. :-)
It looks like I may miss this summer's nude fun. For all my good friends at Timberline, I recommend Frank (the guy from Chat-town) to take my place on the "Poo-Bares" volleyball team. lol
From all speculation, I will be gone 1-year to 18-months.
However, my ever-loving, faithful, ever-adoring and wonderful man, Bill, will be on the forum. I will keep in touch with him and he will convey my fondest greetings to you. I'll let him be my anchor man.
Am I scared? No! (Oh, maybe a little, Yes.) Am I exited? YESSSS! I don't like taking a salary cut but hey! I volunteered! I came into this with my eyes open. You wonderful taxpayers out there paid for my education that enabled me to draw the big bucks. So now... IT'S PAYBACK TIME!
Luv U, will miss you! Stay nude and enjoy!

Eboni;
I was a member of the Mn NG for 9 years myself. I have great respect for you and all of our Servicemen and Women. I have total confidence in the ability of our armed forces to end this situation quickly and with as little loss of life as possible.
I hope Bill will keep us updated on your situation and perhaps we can even pass along some encouragement from time to time.
Stay out of harms way and return to us (and especially Bill ) Safe and Sound.
I Salute You !
Steve

Americans tend to take our freedoms for granted.
But we must remember that many have served this country to preserve our freedoms.
Thank you for serving us all. We will pray for your peace and safety. God Bless!

Just to let you know from the fireman point of view,,, go get em.
Also I am prior service Army, and was in AZNG and we went to SWA in 90-91, I was there,,, sometimes feel we did not complete the job,, but on other hand we did what the political climate of the times required, and the the 'mission was accomplished'
God speed, and take care.

Our wishes for a safe return go with you, Eboni. Although I do not favor the U.S. participation in this war, I hope all of our troops come back home safe and sound to their families.

Eboni,
It is so wonderful to hear everyone congraduating you for your serice to your country. It was one of my biggist fears when I erturned from Viet Nam, that this country would never be able to confront another war. Not that I want more wars, but unfortunitly There will always be wars.
Anyway, I too want to send my love and support to you and your family. I too have all the comfidence in our goverment and our troops to be very suggessful in what they are doing.
God's speed to you all,
Steevo Here
