Hi, thought it was time I introduced myself. I have been taking off my clothes at home now and then for years but only really realized through the internet that I am a nudist. I haven't told my family but I have plenty of opportunity to be nude at home. I have gone to nudist beaches a few times and really enjoyed it. Through this site and the support of an online friend I made here, I have decided to be nude as much as possible.

Nudism is not new. My step father is naked at home allot, and he is 84 ! My father would NEVER do that, his loss. He died never knowng the freedom we experience.

As to you telling the family, is really none of their business but if you feel they must know then feel free to explain. Is possible they would offer negative comments but in time they will get over it.

Just live as you choose.

Hi Alex - Welcome!! I think that with you living in Germany where nudism is much more accepted than in North America you should not have any problems when you tell your folks - Maybe they will join you?

being nude as much as possible at home is a great start and really makes you more open and makes it much easier when you graduate to a nude envionment with others.

When I'm home it feels so free and normal I have to stop and think before running outside (nude) to check the mail or take out the garbage. Welcome.

It's never too late. I started to go nude in a nude beach. Since I am overweight I was concern at first, but I got use to it and now it's great to go nude.

I would like to introduce myself also. I too am a home nudist and enjoy taking my clothes when ever I can. I haven't told my family but I when ever I get am opportunity to be nude at home I strip. I never have the opportunity go nude outside, because there are no nude beaches around here (USA) to go. But through site like this and support of an online friend I hope I can made. I have decided to be nude as much as possible.

I too began as a home nudist. And like others, my biggest regret was not enjoying social nudity sooner! What was I thinking?!?! Everybody goes at his/her own pace I think. I applaud you for recognizing your enjoyment and giving it a try at home! Kudos!

My interest in going without clothes actually began when I was about 10. A bunch of us kids would go into the woods near our houses, take off our clothes, and would run around naked for hours. Became sort of like a club. I really liked the feeling and started going naked around the house whenever my family was out. Think that's pretty common with many here. So while I loved the feeling of being nude outdoors, I was a closet nudist at home all during my pre- and teenage years.

You should try being nude in your bedroom instead of the closet... It is not as dark and easier to move around!

Ok, seriously now, I am glad you discovered that you are a nudist. I grew up terrified of being seen nude. The gym locker room was my worst nightmare. Finally, in college, I realized my fears were irrational and forced myself to get past it.

Once I got my own place I started spending more time nude. Things like doing household chores without getting dressed first. Then I discovered the joys of sunbathing and skinny-dipping.

The only thing I had ever heard about nudist was "nudist colonies" and a lot of giggle-giggle. So you can imagine my surprise to learn that nudists were just a bunch of folks just like me. Camping naked is great, but camping alone is boring. So, it is nice to have like-minded friends to join with.

Practically side. The most sure way to forget the irrational fears, is to execize lot. And I cant reccomend a better exercize than switch your home-life to nude. The first thing after got home - undress. And dress only minute before going out to work. My wedge for dresses are next after keys wedge.
Just after some weeks You shall be completely comfortable with skinny look. I do it such in my life, yet I realize after a initial shock of some (naturist) quests of my sauna group an from naturist beach, that was shocking to them see me in my flat the same "dressed" as them seen me zillion times at sauna or beach.
