Mississippi River Nudists

I am a nudist near St. Louis. I frequently boat on the Mississippi River, north of St. Louis in the Alton Pool area. There are several beahes and sand bars in this area. I frequently get naked on these beaches. Are there any other boaters here that want to join me?

I never would have thought that there were nudist on the beaches, sandbars, on the Mississippi River in the Alton area.
I watched the fireworks there on Sunday July 3rd from the bluffs, on Third Street in Alton. I noticed a lot of boats of people in the river there watching the fireworks display.

They are not official nude beaches. Still not legal to benaked there but I have been getting nakded out there for years. Mostly during the week when the boat traffic is very light.

I have heard rumors of naked island thursdays in the alton pool...I have never heard what mile marker etc...Heck, didn't even realize there were any real nudists in the area

I have also heard of the "naked thursday" but have never talked to anyone who can confirm. I have also heard that Royal Landing in that are is a spot where one can get nude and is accessible by car. I visited several times last year, each time on a Monday but I never saw anyone nude or got nude my self because the beach was rather busy. If anyone knows of car accessible nude areas on the Mississippi I would be intrested.

OK, here's the deal. Naked Thursday is a myth. There is however a big party every Thursday afternoon and evening on Iowa Island (about mile marker 224 or so). It can get a bit crazy there. I have witnessed several women goingtopless and wearing thongs at this party, but UNFORTUNATELY no total nudity with the guys.

I enjoy going out on weekday afternoons when the river is not crowded. I can usually find a beach that is secluded enough or people are far enough away for me to strip. I am probably going to be out there next tuesday late morning until afternoon and I can assure you that I will be totally naked.

I have met others out there and have been naked with other guys, but no women yet. Still great to be naked and free among like minded people.

I might be going out on tuesday Aug 2. Just depends on how busy I am at work. Wife and I were out yesterday and found a nice private place to anchor. We have no tan lines left....yeah. Tuedays are generally the best days to get on a beach. DO you have a boat on the Alton Pool?
