rate my poem

I had the hardest time trying to think of a poem for my ENGLIS 10 class but this is what i came up with

WAS IT HER TIME
OR WAS IT MINE
MY SELFISH CHOICE
AND HER LUSCIOUS VOICE
HOW CAN I GO ON?
WITH OUT HER
WITH OUT HER LOVE

WAS IT THE END?
OR A NEW BEGINNING
I SHALL NOT WEEP FOR LONG
I WILL CONTINUE ON, STRONG
I WILL NOT LET THIS BRING ME DOWN
I SHALL SLEEP SOUND

IT'S A NEW DAY
A NEW BEGINNING
I MAY APPEAR STRONG
BUT INSIDE I WAS STILL WEAK
WEAK WITHOUT HER LOVE
I STOOD STRONG AND WILLING

THE LIFE TO LIVE WITHOUT HER
IS POINTLESS EMPTY AND DEAD
BUT I WILL GO ON
WITH OUT HER
EVEN WITHOUT HER LOVE

I say, why not here? He is a nudist, and is in school, so why not?

I liked your poem. It seemed like you put real emotion into it.

However, just a tip for the future (having recently graduated high school), try to keep the rhyme scheme going. Don't just stop half way. My teacher was anal about things like that.

Over all. I liked it. I think your teacher will too.

I can't rate a poem on a simple numeric scale. I will say it was good and I love the rhythm.

Curious, you say this wasn't about anyone in particular, but has it been something you have experienced?

Big Guy, there was no true rhyme scheme. It seems to be free verse with a few couplets added in for effect.

I actually like non-rhyming poerty and if I can find my own from my high school days, I would love to share them.
