Ah yes, wonderful Mazo Beach, a great place in the world. I was unable to get to Wisconsin last summer and so really missed getting to go to Mazo. Tonight as the north winds are howling and the temperatures are diving here in eastern Nebraska, Mazo seems like a wonderful dream.
Wish it were closer for me. How near do you live?

I'm from Chicago. About 3 hours away from Mazo. I discovered it last year and had a great time! I visited 3 times as well and can't wait to visit again this summer.

Mazo is cool. There also is Sun Ray Hills in Burlington, WI. Lots of flatlanders go there. lol Nice to know there are others here.

I wish they had nudist facilities in wonderful Door County (Peninsula) Wisconsin.

I was at Mazzo the weekend after the 4th. It was my first visit to the beach. I loved it.
I had some fun with some canoers that stopped to camp that night and the people were great.
I hope to get back there every year, but it's a 7 hour drive for me.

I've been to Mazo lots of times. I used to live in Madison, now live in Waukesha. I'm always looking for nudists friends.

pek1, Mazo is little more than a sandbar on the banks of the Wisconsin River. Thus it is a 'public' beach. Most of the regulars (once upon a time, myself inclued) are singles.
You mentioned a service dog. I have seen regular pets on the beach. Just clean up after it. Plus if you have a hadicapped endorsment on your license plates, you may be eligable to park next to the beach instead of that mile-long hike down 'Skeeter Alley' a.k.a. Conservation Road.

ajmcc422,
I was at Mazo today. It was a nice sunny day to be on the beach. Just to let you know there is no camping on the beach. There are signs posted. Also there are signs that say the area is only open to the public from 6am - 8pm. I don't really know how they enforce that but this is the Wisconsin DNR we are dealing with. Also it is smart to bring a bike if you can because it's about a half hour walk from the parking lot to the beach.

I spent 4th of July at Mazo and had a great time. There really is no other place like it. The beach and landscape is beautiful. Very peaceful.
I'm going back again this weekend! Can't wait!

Well, I woke up early this morning and decided on a whim to go to Mazo today. I made the 2 1/2 hour drive and found the beach. Today was my first experience nude outside of my own home and it was amazing! I just went by myself since I couldnt find anyone to go with me, but it still was a lot of fun. I see what you mean by that long walk, next time i'll be sure to bring a bike...
