What a absolutely stunning picture for today Nov. 22.
Not the scenery but the people. How beautiful that that family can enjoy the beauty of being together clothesfree.

I want to agree - it is so beatiful that mom, dad and two children can enjoy the beach in their most unrestricted way.

I agree. The picture is probably one of the best that I have seen that would promote family naturism. The fun of enjoying the beach together is a very positive image.

That's the best picture they have ever put up.

              Re: Picture

Here in the States if somebody tried to snap a candid picture of a family like that that photographer would likely have the father, the mother AND the brother AND the sister ganged up on top of that photographer so fast it isn't funny, and there would be no stopping the family from pummelling that photographer conveniently into the sand or ground. Not to mention that camera of his would take a free-flight into the depths of the salty ocean.

Some people you just don't do that around and expect to get away with it without serious and fatal concequences, and it's purely out of respect for folks just trying to have a quiet and peacful time in nature, doesn't matter whether it's a public place or even a private home. It's just a violation of their privacy and an assult on their dignity, that plain and simple.

I say this because the picture clearly appears to be candid and non-consensual. If it were indeed consesnual then all of the subjects in focus of the lens would be center-stage and addressing the camera thusly, acknowledging and consenting to their picture being taken for publishing. Clearly not the case with this picture.

They might have agreed beforehand to walk along the Beach, while their picture was taken.

None of them can be Identified, so there would not be any 'blowback' from the School, Neighbors, Employers, etc.

Good observation, but actually this was a consensual photo. It is Roland Smith and his family. Roland works with us at CFI and it was his idea for the photo. Thanks though. We try to avoid full frontal of children so we don't attract the wrong crowd but at the same time we don't want it to look 'hidden camera' either.

Also, good news. We have a new credit card merchant account and they are more intelligent. They know the difference from child porn and simple nudism. We are going to get a little more sane when it come to families with children. But we will still avoid posting numerous or blatant full frontal photos of children.

If anyone has any more thoughts on this, please let me know.

                    Re: Picture

Thanks heaps, Corky, and I'm glad that my observation didn't transform this thread into a flamefest by other mambers of our boards who might think I'm nuts for having a concern about anyone who might be trying to exploit a child in our forums or anywhere on the CFI website. It's good to know there are sane people around here.

If it were my site though, I'd tend to steer clear of posting any nude children because of the way United States laws react to it and it would certainly be a shame to see this website get into trouble for oversteping any fine line U.S. and INTERPOL laws may draw with concerns to protecting children from being exploited. Steering clear will also help protect CFI members from untimely and inherent trouble with the Law, respectiviely. Let's play it safe.

A rare far away silhouette shot is as far as we should go. We still want to get the message across that we are family oriented and not an adult site.

That was a great picture, so nice to see a whole family enjoying this lifestyle. It also should show people that have nudity phobia's that the children appear to be emotionally OK.

It was a photo that showed that a family can do this, so I found that heartening. Having not been born into a nudist family, I'm still trying to figure out the path once we do have kids.

Thanks for showing the specific photo. There have been other posts regarding the 'Photo Of The Day', but it you read them a day or two later, you've got no idea of which one it could be.

Only showing adults gives credence to the fallacy that nudism is "adult content". Agreed, it's a good idea not to FOCUS on children, but excluding them presents an unbalanced view of naturism at best.
