I have to wonder why anyone would go to visit a pope. He is no better than you or me or anyone else. He is a man just like all others subject to all the same frailties and faults we all are. He is no closer to God than you or me. And for sure he is NOT an inbetween from anyone and God. After all, man put him in that position, not God Himself.
Yes, you are correct. I do not have any faith in the catholic religion.
Rabid Clam, Though you didn't answer the question: "Is anyone going to see the Pope?", by your response I'm guessing you didn't. I couldn't go, though if I didn't have to work I would have liked to have gone, but it's a moot point now. I would submit that people go to visit a pope for the same reason they go to see a president, a prime minister as well as a famous musician or entertainer. Are these individuals subject to the same frailities and faults as us?
