Classic rock and roll, some contemporary "rock", classical music (especially symphony) and MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS! I also like Ladysmith Blackmambazo by the way.

Movies:

Good action films, repeat, "good" actions films; although I will confess to liking Sylvestor Stallone's "Demolition Man" and "Judge Dredd" along with Arnold's "Terminator", my true center of movie passion is closer to "Abyss", "Cocoon", "Stargate" (awesome soundtrack) and "Alien" (the original is still the best).

"Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and many, many of the Isaac Asimov pulp fiction monthly/bi-monthly magazines. Short stories appeal to me because I can actually finish them!!

Heroes:

My grandfather, a veteran of World War II and alum of the 56th Signal Battalion; may he rest in peace! My grandmother, who waited for him to come home and then celebrated their love through 50+ years of marriage. My maternal grandparents who taught love and patience. My father, a terribly practical man and hard worker. And my loving wife, who is presently working on accepting me as I am.
