Hi Joe, how's it going? Sorry you couldn't make it to Rock Lodge. You were right, what a great place.
We had quite the group, us, Deb, Mac and Rhonda, Dick and Cindy, Gary and Bill (Sunspotters you haven't met).
Hope all is well and say hello to Rita. See you at Eastover.

Hi. Joe! Next time you need to trim those trees, contact me. I live very close to you, and I'd be glad to help. It may cost you a quick dip in that great pool, though!

Thanks Nosocks. The trees are Leyland Cypress (x Cupressocyparis leylandii). They should do well in southern California, but they grow fast and BIG. After they grow to the size you want, they'll need to be trimmed every year. I couldn't be happier with mine.

    Procrastinator,

Very nice backyard and pool area. Could you please tell me what type of trees/bushes those are behind the pool that provide that much privacy? I'm looking for some privacy and wondering if those could be an option in Southern California. I've got some guesses but would like to confirm. Thanks -Nosockstoday

Thanks TVNude. Personally, I'd prefer your setup. I don't look forward to the annual trimming. It's overdue!

Nice pool! Mine isn't as well landscaped but is back 300 feet from the road. It's equally clothes optional.
