Steam room, always nude.
Steam room, always nude.
i was on a cruise a few years back and almost everyone was nude in it. some kept their towels on but you could tell they were still naked underneath and some sat on their towels. i was always naked and was comfortable enough to go naked from the steam room to the showers and through the whole locker room
everyone goes nude in the steam room here![]()
The sauna that was available at my last job was in the men's locker room and years ago when I started using it everyone would always be nude. Time progressed and the last few years the younger male members would wear underwear, swim trunks, or stay wrapped in a towel. Sometimes when I would use it the sweating populace would be 50/50 (nude vs textiled) and there were times I would be the only nude one in the sauna. I would take a towel in the sauna to sit on but never had it wrapped around me. If there is no stated restrictions I would always use a steam room or sauna nude - single gender or mixed. I have yet to encounter steam bath or sauna that was coed and clothing optional; however, if I do I will be a nude occupant.
Life is short, enjoy it one moment at a time.
My club actually suggests that you go nude in the saunas and hot tubs. It is perfectly fine unless otherwise posted somewhere in the locker room or sauna area.
Unfortunately my local YMCA doesn't yet have a steam room but at the fitness club that I had previously belonged to had one and I was always nude sitting on a towel. As far as I can determine, being nude in the men's room is within the norm.
Naked is the only way to go. Last night I saw a man fully dressed, Workout pants and long sleeved tee, and a guy who came in with a wash cloth holding it in place, sat bare butt on the wood and kept the 4*4 square to cover up. You really do get to see Everything in the sauna!
Y's seem to vary depending on the neighborhood regarding how long and where men feel comfortalbe in being naked. But it's one place you can be comfortable in just your skin and not concerned about respecting others.
I'm typically naked in the steam room, although a great majority in their are atleast wearing their swimming trunks. It really makes no sense to me why people are so afraid to be nude...
