    Plying in the Mud ??

When visiting Club orient in St. Martin, we took a cruise to Tintamarre where we covered our bodies in mud & played with the others in the group for a little while until we washed off in the sea. Had a great time.

This reminds me of the Turtle Lake Nudist Resort mud pit which is provided next to the lake where persons can roll in the grey-white mud and later can get in the lake and wash the mud off.

Yes, that 3rd photo is of the mud pit at Turtle Lake Resort in Michigan. I've been in it several times. The 'mud' is really a specific type of clay that is supposed to have therapeutic qualities - the same type used at some very pricey spas. It is certainly good for drawing out the sting from insect bites and mild sunburns. The routine is to let the clay dry on your skin after leaving the pit, until you turn into a light grey 'walking statue', most of the dried clay sloughs off you as a powder, then you soak off the remainder in the lake.

My wife and I had a lot of fun covering ourselves in the black mud from the bottom of this lake . The lake is a Tea stained fresh water (a bit brackish) near Byron Bay in NSW Australia. The lake is a few hundred yards from Belongil Beach. A Clothing optional sea beach that runs for miles down the coast to Byron Bay.

It was great fun putting the mud on then lying in the sun but a bit hard to get the mud off. It took some days to get it out of my finger nails.

I think that's only if it's made from topsoil.
