Any nudists near Pensacola?

I live in the area. Moved here not too long ago. Don't know any other nudists here, though. I guess I'm more of an at-home nudist. I've never been to the Riviera resort, but I've read that its nice. However, for me personally there is just something about having to pay money to be able to not have to wear clothes that doesn't quite sit well with my stomach. But maybe I'm just cheap. Though, I did go to Indian Hills once when I lived in Louisiana. I would like to try the beach some day, but I don't know where I could go without getting caught. I'm still not too familiar with the area.

I don't live in the Pensacola area,but I have traveled through there and have been to the Riviera resort and the truth is,hardly anybody goes there.It's not a very active or popular resort.The swimming pool was noticeably dirty and needed cleaning.On any given summer weekend,there is no more than a dozen people for the entire weekend.Staff is unfriendly for the most part and they act like they are superior and better than everybody else.They need to be friendlier and more sociable with the guests because that's what keeps them coming back.They need to remember that without guests,there is no business and they don't have a job.If you're looking for larger crowds and plenty of activity,you need to look elsewhere.I would not recommend this place.Go elsewhere.

I'm hearing of Johnson Beach, but don't know if it used by nudist or some just go there and be nude where they can.

Does anyone know anything about a resort called "Sunnier Pines" in Jay Florida? I saw it mentioned on another website and it is on the AANR map of Florida resorts. They were supposed to have had their grand opening the first of July. I haven't been able to find a website for them. Jay is about forty miles north of Pensacola at the intersection of highways 4 and 89.
I would like to find a place to stop around Pensacola on drives between Austin Texas and south Florida. I would rather support a nudist resort with my travel dollars then spend my money staying at a conventional motel.

we were members of the old sunburst resort in milton fl. when we lived near pensacola , but it has gone out of business ( or at least gone non nude ) but i do know there are at least a few hundred nudist in the pensacola area
anyone feel free to bring me up to date on the area because we would like to visit the area again

That would be incorrect.Nudists in northern Florida are very rare because it's the most conservative part of the state.Most of Florida's nudist population lives in central and south Florida.
