    Naturist places in Louisiana

Somebody knows anything about "The Natural Cajun Place" in New Iberia/Louisiana
    or "Folsom Hills Resort" Covington?
Found those names in some old listings but can't find any more information.
I'm always looking for places in Louisiana, Florida is just too far away to go more then twice a year and I'm tired of being a home nudist.
If anybody knows of any naturist places or groups in south Louisiana (besides Indian Hills) I would appreciate that.
Maybe it's time to organize a South Louisiana naturist club!

    Re: Naturist places in Louisiana

I've never heard of either of those places. And aside from Indian Hills, I've only heard of a clothing optional motel in New Orleans, but reading their website it seems that they allow sexual activity in the open down there and I'm not into watching other people so I haven't been there. As far as Louisiana goes, the only other option would be the travel club based out of Metairie but when I contacted them they said that most all of their members were in their 50's and up. Which that's cool, but that means most people we would be hanging out with are almost double mine and my wife's age, not as cool. So, sorry to say, if you're looking to spend time naked out doors you pretty much have to go find a place. Try some free hiking on some of the trails LA and MS have to offer, if you like hiking. There's always canoeing in LA and MS as well, and if you go on a weekday, and leave a little later than the morning rush, you're usually going to be alone for most of the day. My wife and I spent two days naked on Black Creek with some friends of ours back in May. Didn't see hardly anyone. So in sad answer to your question, there aren't many "organized" places in LA if that's what you're looking for. Mostly going to have to find places on your own or go out of state.

    Re: Naturist places in Louisiana

I've actually been to Folsom Hills twice - I think it was some time around 2002 or 2003 when I lived in Louisiana. I think it's closed now since the website stopped working shortly after I went. I guess the place never got up and fully running. You couldn't really call it a "resort" either, as it was basically a private house with maybe 8-10 acres of semi private property attached to it. There was a small pond next to the owner's house, and not too many trees. There was a nice central bathroom with showers and a few picnic benches further back on the property, but not much else, but the owner said it was still a work in process, and he hoped it would catch on with more nudists. I went back a second time with my girlfriend and the place hadn't changed at all, and there was no one else there. Too bad, it would have been nice to have something decent to compete with Indian Hills.

I'm going to New Orleans soon and would love to follow your suggestion of going for kayaking and/or hiking. Any suggestion where I could rent a kayak?
