Hebden Bridge is a very small place (my sister and her husband used to live just outside it) and it has a bit of a Bohemian reputation, which is perhaps why Gough chose to enter it. Reports suggest he is using the Pennone Way, which is a footpath over the mountain "spine" of England and, espcially this time of year, he is unlikely to encounter many people.
He might start having problems again when he gets south of the Pennine/Peak District areas and enters the more populated Midlands, where it is harder to avoid people.
People like me. I would complain about him. I don't consider his behaviour to be acceptable and the more harassment he gets, the better signal it sends to other arrogant exhibitionists.
