I'm aging like fine wine ... I'm getting complex and fruity.
That is a beautiful work of art. It's a shame that the community has to lose it.
Now if it were an artwork or a painting depicting something violent then I'm willing to bet that not one soul in the community would complain, go figure.
This is another example of the vocal minority getting their way. Very few complain and away it goes, more people that are not offended by nude art need to speak up.
An opinion shared by many does not make it true.
We have to forewarn the complainers to please please please never to take their children to an art museum. The Sistine Chapel in Rome, or to places where they can see nude statues or paints. I think even the U.S. Capitol should be forbidden for those children (it should, but for different reasons, not for the art).
It´s even more amazing that some local government officer gets along with their request.
