Where it is legal for women to be topfree, it is important that this right be exercised so that it will be retained and so that society will eventually accept the behavior as "no big deal".

New York City has just such an organization - the Outdoor Co-ed Topless Pulp Fiction Appreciation Society (http://coedtoplesspulpfiction.wordpress.com). For those of you that have wives, girlfriends or other interested females in the area, feel free to have them contact the group at toplesspulpfiction@gmail.com.

This type of organization is needed everywhere it is legal to be topfree. I encourage topfree activists in other cities to duplicate what New York City has.

There is a Go Topless Day every August with rallies and marches in many cities, but this event happens just once a year. What I would like to see is a continuous activity (weather permitting) like New York City has.

Women should have the right to be topfree anywhere a man can be topfree. And women need convenient, nearby organizations in their area to exercise that right.

What are your thoughts?

Yes they should. But if this were an organization to be taken seriously, there would be some editorial content behind it.

Also - that site -- forgot the second part of "confucious say".

What he did NOT say, but is highly true, is that 1,000 pictures do not tell a million words, they just tell the same 1,000 words 1,000 times over again.

Is this really an organization, or just a page with a lot of pictures of topless women on it?

From what I can see wit a quick glance, this is either an art site or a soft porn site. It is not an organization for women to gather to promote topfreedom for women. For an example of a site that promotes topfreedom, check out www.tera.ca It is mostly just a website, but it shares stories of how women are pushing the barriers.

New York's Pulp Fiction group is actually legit and quite active, reportedly helping other similar groups set up in parks around the country.

Meantime, if topfree is comfortable for Kate Middleton, aka Duchess of Cambridge, its gotta be ok for everyone! Any media fuss is ultimately futile.

Yes, sure it's a legit group. That's why all the women depicted (or nearly all of them), are trim, appear to be all under 30, and there are pictures posted nearly every day. Gee not too many 50-60-70 somethings there, and it's my understanding that THEY also read pulp fiction. I guess they have trouble attracting older women!

I am not saying that this group is "legit" or not, but could it be that older women are just not interested or too embarrassed to join them, or if they did join just wanted to remain anonymous? Could it possibly be that most if not all do not have friends to far removed from their own age? How many twenty-somethings do you know that actively hang out with forty-plusses?

I really hope that this is real and not just for titillation. If it is, good for them and there needs to be more groups like this, and more in these groups, to help normalize toplessness. It does seem suspicious that most of the pictures were of young attractive women, the exeption being a close up of a penis. Also some of the puns made it seem less real and more for titillation.

I should have mentioned in my other post that it is the other media sources that helps it look more legit. I was going to but forgot, just like I forgot what else I was going to say in this post.

I remember reading about this group somewhere, but can't remember where. If you look at the website address the clues are there as to why the members are all younger generation; it mentions coed, which I believe suggests that the folks involved are of the age where most people attend college/university (between 18 and 25 in the UK).
