A nudist paramedic who pulled down his trousers to show off his tan to a Little Chef waitress saying ‘look no white bits’ has been suspended.

Nigel Webb complemented the woman on her tan while waiting to for emergency calls, the Health and Care Professions Council tribunal was told.

The hearing was told he then followed the waitress as she went to check on the disabled toilets where he rubbed up against her.

He also dropped his trousers to reveal his upper thigh and said ‘look no white bits’, at the restaurant on the A17 near King's Lynn, Norfolk,

The woman, referred to as Person A, was left embarrassed when Webb started talking to her about naturism, the hearing heard.

The waitress told the tribunal that at about 8.30pm when she went to check the toilets were clean, that Webb followed her into a disabled cubicle and rubbed himself against her.

She said: ‘He came in there and he shut the door.

‘He said “I don’t want to hurt you, I just want to show you”.

‘He started to undo he trousers at the top and showed me his upper thigh and all I could see was pubic hair.

‘He was showing me that he didn’t have any white bits. As quick as that he did his trousers back up.’

The tribunal found his actions were sexually motivated and suspended him for 12 months.

Panel chair Derek Adrian-Harris said: ‘The panel found that this level of intimate conversation by Mr Webb took it beyond the "banter" or "chit chat" level and onto the level of inappropriateness.

Agree. One does not pull one's pants down uninvited in front of a relative stranger, or even go with into a washroom with a member of the opposite sex and shut the door, even if the had guy known her as a waitress for years. The nudist connection is irrelevant. He should have known better.

Sounds like there was a connection to me. The reports are that he allegedly started discussing naturism - nudism, which DOES make people feel uncomfortable ... and she tried to duck hin, then he exposed himself to her.

I guess the gist of things is, that the press should not have reported this as an incident involving questionable behavior and that nudism was a topic. Uh, it WAS, boys and girls.

I have made that statement in the past as well. The newsmedia will go out of their way to insure that nudity will be the "highlight" of their stories, no matter how small the incident is. As long as there is a naked person involved, either inoccent or otherwise, it will be the highlight of said story.
