    Computer proplems

Have not been here lately due to computer proplems, on my dads laptop right now, do not know when I will be able to return. My brother-in-law has my tower, but is known for procrastination. Hope to be back up and running soon.

Good luck with it. Computers are great...when they work. When something goes wrong, it is SO frustrating.

Google, which also owns YouTube, Chrome and G-mail, is phasing out of support for Internet Explorer. Google wants us to use Chrome, which I think sucks. So if you're an IE user, you're eventually gonna get stopped out of access to G-mail, YouTube and of course Google.

sunnysmile, google supports all browsers that I know of including IE, Chrome, Mozzila Fire Fox, and Apple Safari, Opera, and others.

As far as I know G-mail, YouTube, and Google Chrome Browser are all stand alone applications that work on most operating systems.

I really don't understand your comment:

"So if you're an IE user, you're eventually gonna get stopped out of access to G-mail, YouTube and of course Google."

So why would Google stop out only IE users and not Mozilla Fire Fox, and Apple Safari users.

What don't you like about Chrome other than you say it Sucks?

Gary, I can support Sunnysmile. I also think "Chrome sucks". I use a laptop all the time. The Sony Vaio has a fantastically sharp screen for all my programs EXCEPT Chrome. It somehow blurs the whole screen. I like Google's stuff, especially Gmail but I cannot use Chrome because of the blurred screen. I use Firefox instead which is fantastic.

OZJames, I use IE, Mozilla Fire Fox, Chrome, and Safari on a XP PRo Desktop, and a Win7 Laptop.

I see no difference in sharpness on the Desktop or Laptop with chrome or any of the other browsers.

Chrome and Fire Fox are very fast browsers, and good response to links, hyperlinks, and sub links.

IE is terrible with links, hperlinks, and sub links, often is slow, and often hangs up temporary for seconds at a time before you an go to another page, link or sublink.
