Thread: Legalized Force

  1. #1
The problem we as nudist face is that so many people are enamored with government and believe that passing more laws will resolve some problem. Liberals want to extend so called rights to those they feel agree with them and will vote for more government, conservatives want to "protect" those who agree with them and will vote for more government. Those of us of the libertarian beliefs are just trying to keep people from passing so many laws about anything. So many people love laws because they can compel people to "agree" with them or go to jail. Law is nothing more than legalized force so what we as nudist should try to do is to point out that passing more and more laws creates, not solves, problems. Then we can finally get rid of all those stupid laws about nudity. However, with so many people trying to grab the power of government, we have a big job in front of us. If you don't think so, just look at the tax laws. In 1913, the entire law for income taxes was 4 pages long. It is now about 20,000 pages and does anyone really think it is better?
