When nudity is illegal that is a possibility.

if the nudist position is as I read between the lines-that they should be allowed free reign of nudity in common public areas-that position will only result in no improvements.
First, stop reading between the lines. Second, doing nothing will have the same results.

    You sound very antagotistic.

arade around naked in public aka Steve Gough will only result in police intervention and a criminal charge. One could also be labelled an exhibitionist and a sex deviant as wll.

best alternative-and I hate to parrott Stu-but his suggestions. I think they are reasonable.

Who said that that is what I want to do? As I said do not read between the lines. I am just saying that doing nothing will accomplish just that.

Nudity is not illegal in Okla. but it's illegal to let anyone that would be offended to see you, even on your own property.
    Being nude is cool

Huh? Does that not make it illegal anyway? Sort of on the line of "It is not illegal, as long as you do not get caught."?

It is not illegal as long as no one complains. In Ark. nudity is illegal in the presents of the opposite unless you are married to them. Even if no one complains.

But then someone will always complain thereby making it illegal. This is one of those assinine legal traps that makes nudity illegal in an indirect way.
This is the problem.............there is always a way to make a person legally pay for their nudity even if it is doing something that is totally unjust - such as charging a person with disturbing the peace because he was nude and was singing in public (disturbing the peace). The person is not being charged directly with being nude, he is being charged with another offense for no other reason then to make that person pay for being nude.

I agree with nimrod. By the same logic, nudity in not illegal in NC either if you don't get caught.

    Re: Making naturism more acceptable

I think we should be clear about what we mean when we say that naturism should be more acceptable.

Naturism should be entirely acceptable - and naturists as a groupo should have opportunities to practise and should not be discriminated against in employment or other areas of life.

Public nudity, on the other hand, should be restricted so that it does not annoy or offend people.
