if a person were to get caught male or female, on private property or even on a hiking trail wearing only body paint, what would be the implications, i mean where is the line drawn, bodypaint is really not like your trying to expose, yourself but it is nude, but really isnt latex more non nude than some of the cloth,s they make. i mean look at hollywood they wear see thru stuff! wheres the line drawn! hey who judges this stuff anyways! I believe some of the laws are written that the covering must obscure the part being covered, which would rule out paint, as that changes the color, but not the shape of the parts being covered. It would also rule out see-through materials. Mind you, if faced with the two choices, my guess is the law would go after the paint first, unless the material was totally transparent.
Wasn't there a town in Florida that compromised and stated that for a Fantasy Fest, paint would be considered adequate cover?

The Tennessee law, in part, says:
"(A) "Nudity" or "state of nudity" means the showing of the bare human male or female genitals or pubic area with less than a fully opaque covering, the showing of the female breast with less than a fully opaque covering of the areola, or the showing of the covered male genitals in a discernibly turgid state. "Nudity" or "state of
nudity" does not include a mother in the act of nursing the mother's baby;"
However, while body paint would technically be an opaque covering, I would think that a judge would rule that the spirit of the law would dictate that body paint does not qualify as a covering.

My only question with body painting is how does a man not get an erection? I've seen photos of bodypaiting in progress, and one time a live demonstration, and I cannot imagine being able to control myself if someone was brushing paint on my penis for several minutes. BTW, the live demostration model was female.

well, on second thought, seeing some posts on acceptability of erections....maybe a secondary question is this:
would it be OK or accepted to get an erection in this situation, considering the contact of the brush?
Also, if it subsided afterward, would it be considered normal or uncontrollable and not worried about?

J-man, A few years back, I was a canvas in a body painting contest and my penis was painted. In my case I was with close and trusted friends and it simply did not bother me. However, my team won the contest. Then EVERBODY just HAD to take a better look. You guessed it. The little guy started to grow. That was one of the very few times that ever happened. Once all the attention died down, so did he. BTW nobody there seemed in the least bit offended.
