Hello Tinyone. Welcome to the Forums.
It is only Natural to look. If anyone says they don't they're just fooling themselves. You can be busy or distracted but when someone walks into a room people usually look to see what they look like and who they are, it might just be a quick glance but they look. There is nothing wrong with looking, the problem is when you stare or just keep looking at that person. Nudist try to be different but they are Human also. I think if you don't look something is wrong, it is normal to look. I am a people person, I watch people all the time. That is probably why I have been able to avoid alot of accidents..Enjoy your stay here.
"These Views are Views of the Author and Do Not Reflect those of INA or it's Members" BTW..It's not sexual because I was watching people before I ever knew what Sex was. Now that I do I still watch them.

nudeM is on a distinguished road
I think that sub-consciously, we all, in one way or another, look just to see how we measure up with each other i.e., thin, fat, athletic type, penis size, breast size, tall, short, hairy, smooth, tatooed, etc. As stated, it is only a glance and not a stare. It's up to each individual to respect each others privacy and not allow a constant glare. While at a nude beach, I have talked to several individuals as if we both had clothes on. They were casual conversations over a can of soda. It made me feel real welcome that there were other people out there who don't put you down for what ever reason, and made you feel like you knew them forever. I hope it stays that way.

Defining your connotation of "look" would be helpful. If you mean just a simple look, then of course we look at each other. We take in the majority of our world through our eyes. We are a very visual species. And to see others and look around us is only natural.

If you mean look at other's genitals, then that is another thing all together. Keith and nudist_in_Tn have the right idea. And just like nudeM stated, we may look to compare or to admire beauty, but looking is much different than staring. To stare is rude, nno matter what the person is wearing or doing. To give an observational look is fine. Everyone expects others to look at them, but hopes that they can refrain from staring.

I have to confess, I enjoy looking, the human body is one of the most beautiful art forms ever created on this earth...and yes, I will even take time to compliment someone on their artwork if they sport a tattoo that I think has been done well.

Several people I know, have even told me, they don't mind questions regarding their body jewelry even in places I would never consider...and provided someone doesn't blatantly stare...I enjoy being looked at in a nonsexual way by both genders.

I also confess, I don't even mind explaining my reasons behind getting my tattoo to others...I enjoy being able to share my reasons with others when asked why I got my little greenshine in the first place. Oh, and for those who wonder, did it hurt when I had him put on my breast...let's put it this way...I don't plan on having another one based upon multiple reasons...including the pain I had to endure while he was put there on both occassions

in my opinion, jewelry and tatooes are done to satisfy the individual sporting them, but when put on display, they are available for comment. once something personal is visible, i would expect a response from someone. if someone was to ask me why i have a scar, i tell them why, i don't get offended, i just think that everyone has natural curiosity. the same natural curiosity goes for checking each other out. my glance will tend to linger on body types that please me. sorry, we are after all "human animals" (but i would never glare, drool, paw, etc.)

Florida-David, I would agree with you. I look at people all the time. I don't have lustful thoughts but I do observe people and enjoy observing some more than others. When I say that, I am referring to people enjoying themselves, i.e., volleyball, frisbee, swimming, jogging and the like, because the body is in motion and it is pleasurable for me to see people enjoying themselves. I have to confess that I do gander a peek at other guys as well, because like you say, comparing is normal whether we are mature enough to admit it or not. I like what the good Lord has blessed me with and I don't mean that in a bad way, but as my Daddy would always say, son, some of us are growers and some of us are show--ers. Well, enough on that but our bodies are important and I for one, am proud to be in the skin, I am in. Have a wonderful weekend naked if you can. Get some sun for me if you can.
