NUDE ART in the HOME

I am wondering how much nude art nudists have in their home in contrast to nude artworks in the homes of non nudists. We have only four paintings/prints that include nudity out of perhaps 25 or so other artworks.

One is a Norman Lindsay print of naked women falling out of the sky in front of a bridal party on a field - looks of amazement all around , the second is a Picasso print of nude dancers , the third a Jewish painting of Adam and Eve and the last a series of 8 paintings , one of which is a breast , the others fairly sensuous images of fruit and flowers (it's all in the mind of course).

If I had the money I would like to buy more nude artwork but feel that others may regard a house full of nude images a little strange. I probably should not care BUT ????

What do non nudists think of people who have a house full of nude art - perhaps Stu could answer this ??

What is a reasonable balance considering that most visitors to our house are non nudists.

Not a lot of nude art here, some naked angels, I think those are cherubs, and a couple of small statues of couples embracing, nothing full frontal, and they are in our bedroom.

And what about nude art in non-nudist homes?

Or nude art in non-nudist homes on TV? There is a Mexican telenovela on UNIVISION currently where one of the homes has quite a bit of nude art, including a pair of approximately 3/4 size statues. This art sometimes shows up in the background for several seconds at a time when focusing on one of the characters talking, not the groin area, but breasts, of statues are plainly visible.

So far, I only have a nude from waist up on a block of wood down here in my basement. Have never had any complaints about it from anyone.

What I'd like is a large nude statue to place in my woods on the way down to the creek. These large nudes are rather expensive though.

I have 6 nude paintings in my home and and a nude David statue in my garden path, I am a naturist.

We have several nudes in the living room, paintings and statues. Also in the bedroom we have nudes (my avatar is the oilpainting in the bedroom), and even, believe it, in the walking closet, funny but true. Nobody has ever made a remark.

We have 4 nude statues scattered around our house. They are about 3' tall and are of nude females. They are the middle of a person - from the neck down to about 3" of leg and have only about 3" of arm too. Quite nice. They get a few looks from visitors or clients who come to my home office. No complaints from anyone and a few complements.

I have several PlayBoy nude puzzles, assembled and framed, in my computer room. They are IMHO tasteful and add to the decor. My girlfriend has a large (expensive) framed picure of a nude couple in our bedroom. Several nudes decorate the rec room as well. No one has ever complained, including the parents of young children.

My tv room, which has a tropical decor, has several photos of nudes on tropical beaches as well as several photos of painted nude bicyclists (myself included) from the Fremont Summer Solstice. The only comments have been along the lines of, "Wow- I love this room!"
