Naked Activities Photos Request

Hi all,

I'm working on putting together a hardcover pictorial book about naked activities, to help promote Naktivism in Europe, for which I need high resolution photographs of naked people being active in different situations. Topics might include: riding, cycling, flying, parachuting, protesting, street-wise, shopping, working, body-painting, etc. - really anything other than the traditional nudist lying on the beach pretending to be an old lizard Note that the emphasis is on being active while naked. If you'd like to contribute some photos to the project, you won't be paid as such, but you will get full credits, and web links, and a little bit of fame for posterity of course - and for every three photos used, you get a free book.

I have many nudist action and sports images that use to be posted to CFF "Eve" Forum Member Initiated Photo albums.

Unfortunately, when CFF/CFI transfered over to "vBulletin" forum and social networking powered software, member initiated albums was not available, and all previous albums, images were lost [unless posters backed up or retrieved off the server before eve was taken down off the server]

Currently CFF forums do not have the ability or 2-3 party add on to have user/member initiated photo albums or galleries.

You speak of high resolution or publication quality. Can you be a little more specific on resolution, file size, and pixel size the printer requires?

I doubt if many in my collections are of publication quality as most are derived from the world wide web at small file and pixel size for general viewing on monitors not suitable for enlargement, printing, publication, etc.

Gary, I understood the request to be for action photos that any of us owned copyright on and were original shots...complete with model release forms, etc., that would accompany any photos submitted for this guy's proposed book.

He says that, "If you'd like to contribute some photos to the project, you won't be paid as such, but you will get full credits, and web links...", which again makes me think that only photos taken by any of us here on CFF are eligible.

Personally, when a self-publisher does not offer to pay the photographer any money, I don't bother submitting unless the proposed book's proceeds are going to charity.

Thanks for the pre-contact information. I have not heard from him as yet, and doubt few if any would meet resolution and publication, and release requirements of the ones I took or in my collections, for a high quality hardback book.

I feel the same on submitting qualifying images for someone else's gain without good cause or benefit.

Correct, model release forms are online at the FTP upload location, and are part of the package if someone contacts me with a view to submitting photos to the project.

Yes, you need to have publishing rights yourself, probably therefore only your own photos, or those offered by a friend, are eligible, because then you are able to pass on the publishing rights on behalf this project.

Look guys,

I'm effectively the editor here, it's my idea and I'm not getting paid. I do get a few free books out of the deal, and I am able to pass on free books by way of exchange for a few photos. There is no more in the bucket. If you want to make a fortune by selling photos to Playboy or Playgirl, go for it, but there's no money in this little project here. The idea is to promote "Naked Activities" to a greater audience, to promote the idea of "Naktivism" to society using the tools society finds acceptable, and personally I think this is a great way to do it. If anyone disagrees with me that's fine, just don't contribute, but there's no need to denigrate the idea just because it doesn't suit your ideals of the material world. I hope that's all clear, and taken in the friendly and informative way it is meant.

Hi Gary,

I believe any images over about 3 megabytes in size will probably retain enough information to be printed in the book. They will need to be your own work, or those of a friend who allows you to publish them, so that you are able to pass on the right-to-publish for the project. Naked and Active is the key.

Another thing to consider Gary, is that he may want 'natural' images, not ones that have been Photoshopped, like the one that you posted.

As you can see before posting "richinude" got back to me in the forum and other means as to requirements for his project.

F.Y.I. photoshop also does resizing to be able to fit the sample image on CFF screen, and the image remains as natural as taken.

Naked frisbee throwing.
Naked boomerang throwing.
Naked running on a public beach with socks, shoes and an iPod only.

My mistake.

I just thought it odd that the shadows being cast on the young man with the semi-erect penis were almost straight down, with the sun above and very slightly behind him, while all other shadows on the rocks and buildings are cast from a sun that would be in approximately the 2 O'clock position (see the shadow from the round rock). I'd think that fellow would cast a similar shadow on the rocks behind him, to his right. Gee, I wonder why he doesn't cast a shadow? I do see a dark spot under his thumb, but nothing similar under any of his other digits. I wonder what that is.

There must be some reasonable explanation for those anomalies.

Once again, my mistake.
